I'm looking for a couple of costumes that would give my character "Sanctuary" a nice change of attire now and again. So here is a costume contest to do just that!

Categories:
Casual
Something she can still fight in if it is an emergency, but it is more important that she can go for a walk in the park or grab some lunch in this outfit. Trendy, sexy, comfy, stylish, it doesn't matter! Just something she can wear around town!

Classic!
An iconic outfit that has a "classic" super hero look to it. It doesn't have to be tights and a cape, but those work too! Just something that looks like it was made for her to fight evil doers in and look like a super hero doing it!

Battle Ready
This outfit should be something that is specially designed to take on the toughest baddies! Maybe some extra armor, or an especially cool design or symbolic look to strike fear into the hearts of her enemies! When things get serious, Sanctuary will don this uniform!

Prizes:
Each category will have your choice of either 100Gs or 1 cosmic key as the prize. There maybe be more than one winner in a category, and you can win multiple categories.

Rules:
  • -You can change her hair style but her hair color must stay relatively blonde
  • -You can not change her proportions drastically.
  • -She does not have to wear a mask. Her eye color is up to you.
  • -You may enter multiple categories and enter each category multiple times.
  • -There are no restrictions on costume pieces. If you don't own a piece, just use it anyways, save the costume and screen shot it while using the tailor, then upload it here :P
  • - You DO NOT have to use a model of Sanctuary. You can make a costume for your own character, and post it her. Sanctuary will try it on for herself picking the appropriate costume pieces. :)
  • -All entries must be posted here by Sunday November 30rd, at around 6pm ST (Extended one week due to multiple request) I will try to announce the winners then as well before the Conquer CC. Also, by entering AND winning this contest, you agree that I can use the Costume on Sanctuary. She did pay 100Gs for it after all

Background and info on Sanctuary:

o7t5ki.jpg

Real name: Samantha Gracie

Powers: Super strength, Flight, weak telekinesis powers.

Sanctuary is a super hero who fights to end human trafficking and bring attention to the fact it is still a problem around the world. As a young girl, she was placed back into her mother's custody after her grandmother passed away. She was "given" to a young girl's "school" where she was forced to work for a cleaning service (in return, her mother was able to continue her drug habit). One night she was then "given" to another smuggling group along with a group of kids and were sent on a boat headed for a foreign country. However, the boat started to capsize during a storm. During the chaos, Samantha helped many of the younger kids into life boats, but fell overboard herself. It was then, just as she was drowning, her superpowers emerged.

She now is head of a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending human trafficking and slavery - using her super powers whenever politics cannot get the job done.

Personality:
Samantha (Sanctuary) takes her role as a symbol of "hope" and "justice" seriously, always saying the politically correct thing and putting on a persona that rallies people to her cause. In her personal life, Sam is a kid at heart. Being deprived a normal childhood, Samantha loves doing all the things she missed out on. She watches cartoons, loves games, and you might catch her just swinging in the park with a couple of children during the weekend.

You Can Copy And Paste this Image into your screen shots folder to have her current costume available to you:

Ohh, fancy sash! I'll get my claws into this tonight after I get home from work. Question first though: how much leeway do we have with z-store and unlocked costume pieces? Are there any sets you'd like us to avoid?

No, you can use anything. I put that in the rules just so everyone knows:smile:

Sounds like fun...I'll definitely give this a shot:smile:

There's just one little problem that I have come across. The costume file that you posted at the end of the OP doesn't work when put into live screenshots. For a costume to be loaded after being put in screeenshots it has to be named in a particular way.

For example, one of my toon Britannia's costume files is named "Costume_milleniumguardian_Britannia_CC_Comic_Page_Blue_469533703" and all my other costume files have similar formulas for their names (my @handle is @milleniumguardian). Whereas the costume file you have shown is called "23r9751" and doesn't load in the tailor.

if you rename it "Costume_Razama_Sanctuary.jpg" you should be fine (worked for me)

I've made some costumes for Sanctuary, Razama (it was fun ). How would you prefer the screenshots, tailor screenshots or out in the open world?

I own all the parts I have used so either is no problem.

That's cool. I'll upload some later today. As far as forum posts go we can only post 4 images per post (that's including the emoticons).

Okay, so here is my take on a complete new wardrobe for Sanctuary. I went for a more up to date, modern outfit but still keeping the comic book vibe.......
    Classic- Everyday Superheroing Costume
    402b9932-16b9-4ab5-b682-5907b38d1525.jpg
This costume uses the latest durable and flexible materials while also offering protection thanks to a lightweight kevlar weave.

Oh, and do you see that blue light in the middle of her belt panel? Well if you press that you get......

Battle Ready- Hard Light Partial Force-Field Array
    89d7a6ae-d866-445f-b425-76e2b9853a74.jpg
This technology uses a lot of power so it only works for about 15 minutes, then the battery needs to be recharged. The Force Field generator is housed in the belt and activates emitters placed in strategic points around the costume.

However, if you're not a big fan of this temporary protection then there is also.....

    Battle Ready- Combat Suit
    1a270167-a253-4933-9dd2-e8513ff4263a.jpg
The armoured parts can easily be attached to your base costume. And as you can see, your left gauntlet contains a mini force shield.

So maybe you would like to change from your.......

    Casual- Street Clothes
    cf078f35-0018-4d10-bb89-2e440d7175e1.jpg
...and try out your new duds :-)

I hope you like it Razama. The shield on her chest symbolizes the protection that she extends to the innocent. They know that behind that shield is the Sanctuary that they need.

Perhaps it could also be the logo of the non-profit making organisation that she runs.

N.B. I have also used the 'Determined' mood for these costumes so the face sliders are arranged for that. I tend to do that on most of my female heroes.

Hello, here are my two designs for the casual section. I hope you will like them.

The basic principle that I put before myself was to stick with the color range of the original costume - red, blue, grey, white, yellow-gold. That in itself is a wide and interesting solor scheme in itself.

    Casual1.png

    Casual1a.png

This one was designed to be flashy, but elegant. Something that a celebrity in a comic book style city (think Superman's metropolis) would find adequate. For consistency, I replaced the mask with sunglasses. No single inspiratin behind this one, although I wanted to use an Emma-Frist-style combinationwhite and gold so that it would work well with your character's chosen hair, shape and posture.

This one will require the "Golden Age costume pack" (I reccomend that pack to everyone really - great choise of parts).

Here is the direct llink for this costume file itself:

The second one is a more down to earth and sporty outfit.

I retained the choker and glasses, but went with a red-blue-yellow tricolor outfit with a loose "racer" vibe. I made the jacket the starting point of this design (I'd like to acknowledge this as an influence by Vito Delsante & Todd Loessy's Stuntman concept art). I changed the hair to a french braid, as the default hairstyle of your character (like most long hair options in CO) has a tendency to clip through jackets and collars. Please let me know if you'd like some other hairstyle to go with this one.

This one requires the Harajuku pack for the jacket.

Hope you like both of these. Classic superhero designs coming soon. I would have had them done today, if it wasn't for the 2hr game maintenance.

Here's my classic entry. Decided to go with the most classic of all color combinations - the tricolor.

To maintain the golden or silver age comic book feel, I did not add any armour parts, but instead went for a flowing range of angles and chevrons. I hope you will enjoy thos one,

The mask requires the golden age pack, while the top tight design is from the variety pack.

I'll try ro get an armour version by the deadline tomorrow. Unlike for most people, for me saturdays and Sundays are the busiest RL working days of the week though.

I don't know if I like the bottom half, but I definitely like the top half! Giving you synergy realness with that Psionic Dragon side accessory + open mask sharp combo.

Yay I won! I should inform you that my @handle in game is @hies. I don't know why they're different I had to make a new forum handle because of the perfect world integration thing. Should I send you the costume file too? I'm barely in game because of the changing time zones and other commitments so please let me know! Thank you!
