Needing a bit of inspiration: Magical Girl costumes!

So I've got this character, Magic Knight Trinity. She's a magical girl with fire/ice/lightning powers and combat styles she 'borrowed' from various anime and video games.

I'm needing a bit of inspiration for her costume, though. The current one uses a lot of the Harajuku parts. Unfortunately, so do two of my other main heroines.

So I'm wanting a few ideas on what I could do for a new costume.

    I'd really like to help you out! I'm so interested in this. However, my first tip would be to change her hair colour from white: if you notice magical girls, their hair colours are often their costume's secondary colours. I know your concept, but if I knew what colour you'd change your character's hair to, I think I can get started :)

    The issue with her hair is that there are plot reasons why it's white.

    She's actually a CoH transfer, I'm looking to revamp her costume, and changing her hair color isn't really viable right now.

    Go with a pink and white color scheme *nod*

    The only advice I can give would probably be to work on the shape a bit... The magical Girl costume concept just doesn't seem to work right on a full grown character...

    So based on your character idea and limitations, I created this look:

    It's a blend of the urban, wizard, persian, and harajuku sets with a few other parts to finish the look. I made her an actual girl size and proportions, since you mentioned a girl, but you can easily take the look and convert it to a teenager sized character if that's what you wanted.

    These are my takes on it, I also made a school uniform version inspired by Mami Tomoe. Sets used include Victorian, Wizard, Harajuku, Robot Samurai (for the bow, which you can subsitute for the Harajuku one), Pulp (for the heels, again can be substituted) and Feather Armour (can exclude).

    I read it and it says its for females only.. still a nice addition. Looks like I might have to have a go at making a magical girl costume... o-o
