Network Outage [5/7] [Resolved!]

Unfortunately, we're having a server outage currently for all Cryptic games, including CO. My guess is that this has the same root cause as the outages last week, and we're working to resolve it.

I'll post as soon as I get any additional details. I'll be AFK for about forty-five minutes, though, so there may be some radio silence.

    Update: The issue itself should be fixed now. We're still going to need to do a whiteglove of the server before we open it back up, but we're pretty close now.

    Caliga... are you genuinely capable of healing anything? Or are you a disciple of the Hippocratic Suggestion?

    At a tentative guess, I'd say the outage will end in about 20 minutes. Very tentative, though.

    the server hamster got into TT's stash of "cookies" that he keeps to relax when the natives get a bit too restless. Needless to say this caused said hamster to take a leave of absence from it's wheel and go hunting other snacks. Of course Tuesday is the hamster wrangler's day off (he is usually only required to restrain the hamster on Thursdays) and so catching the little beggar is proving a bit difficult.

    Should be soon. Whiteglove on PTS is done, so that should be up soon; waiting for CO Live to come back up.

    Should be soon... no real estimate, but should be pretty soon.

    PTS is unlocked. The Live shard is back online, but we're whitegloving it (giving it a test) before opening it. Should be very quick now.

    Good news. I got scared when i tried logging in and got the message that there was a server maintenance. I was expecting another 4 hours maintenance...:eek:

    Smells like Gold sellers industry try to do something with the server on Neverwinter... like they did on RaiderZ

    So THAT's why the servers are down... "Outages". Please have them up soon, I've got some unfinished business to take care of that involves listening to Poe go through his EXCRUCIATING MONOLOGUE And promptly pummeling him into dust for the millionth time.

    White glove passes! We're just waiting on the engineers to open the shard, then we're back in business.

    One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the Hamsters will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new rodent overlords. I?d like to remind them that as a trusted superhero of some standing in Millenium City, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground storage caves and to perform humiliating dances to repetitive muzak.

    Perhaps this is a good time to re-evaluate how the servers and network are connected, because having this domino effect happen each time one game goes down, isn't all that efficient or effective. Plus then maybe someone can figure out what is taking up so much space we can't get permanent content while both STO and NWO seem to have no problems.

    poor response to zoning requests - took multiple attempts to enter the theater and then leave it again.

    Our problems are nothing a major gateway in Syria went offline and internet traffic from the country has ground to near nothing.

    I'm getting alot of framerate lag, anyone else experiencing this?

    It seems to have happened after the emergency maintenance.. suddenly the framerate in the game has dropped, even on lowest settings I still get it.

    Does this have anything to do with the servers.
