We've announced it before, but just to emphasize: Today is the cutover from separate Cryptic and PWE accounts to having just PWE accounts. You can learn more in our blog post from last week, but spread the word, because today is the cutover.
Today is also the last day to claim your account linking promo item. You'll have until we start the cutover -- which should begin around 1 PM Pacific -- to claim your gift.
If you have any questions, please post them here. I'll be checking the forums periodically for anything.

What happens to the accounts and the characters/data, that havent moved over?
The word Cutoff, makes us worry about character/data recovery.

Exactly what eiledon said. Absolutely nothing is happening to in-game data, or if there is anything, it's not going to affect gameplay at all. All that's happening is account-side. This is just changing the way you access your characters, not the characters themselves.
I would hope...But my hopes in the wash.

If everyone does...will you finally fix the long standing bug thats been reported over a hundred times so we can save our login information?
When we tick the box to save our account name, it keeps bringing up the old Cryptic login-name and refuses to keep the Perfect World login name.
Also:
Dont you think this is going to cripple the population even further? A lot of kids playing the game arent going to understand whats happened to their account other than "why cant i login?!"
If you forced the account conversions with the SAME LOGIN INFORMATION, people are going to be saved a LOT of problems, and the population will not be effected.
Sorry to ask such bold questions, but i have to be straight with you about every detail, else the possibility this is going to very very wrong and south.
-We held off on doing this until the great majority of the active player base had already linked. I was surprised, impressed, and relieved when I was told how many players had already linked.
-I'm not completely privy to how account linking decisions were made, but my assumption would be that there were different parameters between Cryptic and PWE account information, so that they wouldn't transfer as easily. That would be my assumption.
3. Click on "Are you a Cryptic user?" above the User Name and Password fields
This option does not exist!
Please help! People are going to be cut off because the process as instructed is broken.

- If I have already converted to PWE accounts when we were first asked to, will I still be affected?
((I assume I won't be affected but I am asking just in case...also what Brou said - Character Changing is wanted as well as the system to remember our NEW account names))

That is EXACTLY what i was worried about.
Thx for your quick feeback tho turtle so far, i dont mean to grind atcha or anything, im just very concerned and have to get the big concerns addressed like..'now' before something messy happens.
You guys have got to fix this, there are still unlinked accounts that need to be linked.

By this point in the day, we had already rolled out the first part of our cutover, which removed those options. The process has taken a little longer than expected overall.
If you weren't able to link at all, check in with Support -- but you must be linked if you're posting, or is that on a different account?

Why would a completely different company remind you about your Champions account?

Funcom owns The Secret World
Also, I believe the original swag notification for CO may predate TSW's release, It's been awhile. (I also have been playing TSW, and linked my account first couple days after the announcement)
thank you! someone else in the same boat as me. that is what i see. absolutely no option to link as the instructions say there should be. what's the next step?
also, anytime i try getting to the support site i get a message saying there is a redirect loop resulting in too many redirects and thus not loading.
My mistake on that. Never heard of Perfect World and mentally connected it as Secret World.
In any case, never received any notice about the linking of accounts so just another reason I don't feel any desire to play CO. Good for them they got my money up front, they sure wouldn't have later.
Step 2: Create a PWE account or log in with one that is already created.
Step 3: the most important thing is to "scroll down" to actually locate the "link" key.
Step 4: click on link.
If the costume pieces are unbound you can send them in the mail to your other account, otherwise it's not possible. And no, you can't transfer ATs.

Yup no smart **** remarks this time. I know a good few players that have had to start again or have quit because of this bawls up.

i remember this happened to me, but I can't remember what happened to get it fixed.
