well yeah, it's part her reforming and the effected area getting turned to metal [her automatic reaction to truma] and the heat exchange inginting the localized air..so she's absorbing what she can from the shot, and what's left over hurt her...so she's fixin it up

Living Gel characters are fun, I have one although she's not a brawler, she's a ranged attacker who fires off pieces of her own gel body which harden and impact like crystals (regen ice tank).

so what exactly IS a turando? i keep seeing that word pop up a lot recently
"A Turando" simply means "A Doctor", at least in some alien language it does. Now... THE Turando is a wolf-manimal combat medic who is somewhat like Schrodinger's Cat in that we don't know whether he's going to stay alive or get killed. This effect happens any time he enters combat. The Turando is capable of soloing some of the current endgame lairs, and at the same time is capable of being defeated by a normal group of henchmen around his own level. There's nothing quite like Turando, and it seems like there never will be either.
