After I missed invocation by an hour on 8 toons and lost my 6/7 for the week on ALL of them, I did what some have suggested and "took a break" from the game. It's been over a week now playing other games (non-mmo) and I have to admit, it gives you a new perspective on where I was putting my energy. When you get in so deep…
It really depends on the class you're looking to play as well as what you want to accomplish with it. A few points in one direction can gain you more action points where as another might net you a different result. Can you be more specific with what you're wanting?
Wow...such a serious crowd. The joke is apparently lost on this crowd. You're preaching to the choir when it comes to problems and needed fixes in this game. I'm part of the pvp crowd that feels that Cryptic has all but forgotten about us. Lighten up folks and take my post for what it was. Humor.
My only advice is don't turn the game into a job. Having a HAMSTER ton of characters just to run daily pvp with all of them isn't worth it in my book. If the game isn't fun, you're doing something wrong.
GWF just run around in a circle while they're in unstoppable mode. There are some good guides on pvp for each class, but I'm feeling too lazy to find them.
IP banning would be difficult. A prime example of that is Myanmar(Burma). The entire country is locked down heavily by their government and most internet cafes and users all run proxies to get around the lockdowns.
Well then I guess I'm hitting 3. My point was that I wait until I'm able to hit more than one opponent if at all possible. It's very disruptive. Thank you for the clarification on that however.
Sorry, what I meant by map size was the physical size of the map. You could in theory have smaller 3v3 maps though. It's be a way for foundry makers to get more recognition beyond what they're currently doing. Imagine fighting and then having your opponent take cover inside a bar...you follow and the patrons scatter.
I would have a minimum map size. Content is unimportant for my idea. I suggest that after the match players are given the choice to rate for the map. If it gets consistently high marks, as a community we can vote for the maps that will go into rotation or go into further development by Cryptic. It would be awesome to see…
I'd like to compare this event to trying to win something out of those crane operated vending machines with all the goodies at the bottom. You really want that stuffed Mario plush but have already dropped $2 bucks into the machine. $10 later it's holding on by the tag, you can see victory at hand...and then it drops. At…
My GF hits like a truck with Threatening Rush. Frontline may have a long cooldown but when you can down 3-4 opponents that seems just fine to me. I'm not going to argue either way as I plan on trying both out. I main a GF, but also have a GWF so it'll be interesting to see where I end up.
People that leave suck. Once one leaves you've doomed your team. One leaves, the drop like flies. My main gripe is when the opposing team knows your team left and proceed to bend you over as a pack of wild dogs as you try and salvage at least enough points to gain glory. You ask for a 1v1 and half of their team either…
I put this in another thread, but I honestly feel like the TR skins should have 2 uses to them. Having to farm the skin twice is just absurd(Yes I know I don't "have" to).
If you were an atheist that'd be easy. You'd go talk to a guy that knows a guy who works for another guy. That guy would pay you for information which would garner you the same incentives as the rest of the deity folks. On the flip side, you'd never be able to get an angel. Just saying.
This even is a big reminder to me that it's ridiculous to expect TR's to farm 2 weapon skins instead of allowing them to re-use the same skin twice. This needs to be changed.
I ran a few matches with my TR and guess what? I got hit while stealthed every single match. I even did a full match against a helpful DC just to check. He'd hit me once with his At-Will and then I'd stealth. I didn't move at first and he could without fail continue a barrage of attacks on me. After that I moved around…
