With the release of the Ranger class I'd like to propose a new Surname be made available to join the masses of pre-generated last names.

Um... generated (randomized) names are only suggestions. You can change any first and last name to anything you want.

I understand that. I want it a permanent fixture in the game.
    Re-read the last name.

I would rather they add new starting locations and/or dieties, which I figure would be comparable to this in terms of work.

If you want the name, use it.
Spending dev time to add some lowbrow double-entendre name to the random generator seems like a waste of time considering what else could be done.

Well... I think this sums things up nicely.

Wow...such a serious crowd. The joke is apparently lost on this crowd.
You're preaching to the choir when it comes to problems and needed fixes in this game. I'm part of the pvp crowd that feels that Cryptic has all but forgotten about us.

Lighten up folks and take my post for what it was. Humor.

humor is often lost by perception or interpretation when it comes to forum posts. even with the addition of emoticons, it can be difficult to "get" the intended tone of posted text. best to take it with a grain of salt. :)

Considering the lack of body-language and tone of voice, including vocal inflection, some visual or written hint that it was intended as humor would have been helpful. There are some genuinely serious discussions happening on the forums. Hence, when a post written the way yours was it looks like you were genuinely serious.

Your post was identified as low brow humour as early as the post by mithrosnomore.

It wasn't lost. It simply didn't go over well with many of those responding to the thread.
