Mark my words, Improved Gravity Well and Promise of Ferocity will get nerfed balanced, sooner or later. Compared to other stuff we have currently, they are horribly potent outliers.
One of the strongest science abilities already in its current state getting double uptime, lower CD and extra -DRR? You're going to be able to spam them pretty much constantly with this Improved trait. And Promise of Ferocity... wow, a very easily attainable +25% cat2 all weapons damage bonus with constant uptime and no CDs or lockouts? I wonder what happened to the "we want to encourage players to have more build variety, hence there will be no must-slot items".
Yeah, those will certainly be tweaked, it's only a question of time.
What I really appreciate though, is that all variants have five tactical console slots. That's really great, it means that I can pick the ship that of which I really like the looks since I personally don't really care for more traits or the consoles.

Can the Andorian Ships use the consoles from the T5 Andorian escorts?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
These & the last two or three groups of ships released for purchase is probably why last year there was that "rebalancing/nerfing". This way they can add new items to buy to reclaim the levels of powers players already had at one point.
Yes, this: Can the old Andorian ship consoles be used on the new Andorian ships?
Also, will there be Fleet variants of these ships, or are these already adjusted statistically to be Fleet-grade?
I doubt there will be fleet variants since these ships already have 11 console slots, but those Miracle Worker ships offered the 12th slot so who knows for sure.
At this point Cryptic is just trying to release any content for players to buy including all sorts of additives as long as no one calls it T7.
Also, after a certain amount of time passes & so many of these ships sell those abilities will probably get neutered a bit indeed but only after a certain sale figure is hit & after an amount of time not tied directly to a "nerfing" for marketing reasons.
wow, this feels cheap for a 9ships crossfaction bundle.
To be honest it feels like they made the andorian 3 ships, and added to each 2 extrr different skins for the other factions. No singularity core, for romulans no cloack either. feels more likee a crossfaction event ships with different skins, not 9 new ships.
To be honest i would rather buy the 3 pack for andorians now (for my chars), since the other 6 ships are cheap copies and a bit to overpriced for a 9 bundle,
It feels like a faction bundle with 3 ships was more fitting.
Great work on the looks, but seems discovery box and this ads more insult to romulan players...
"Reports of our depression are vastly exaggerated." "Anyaway, we don't often see a sense of humor in Section 31."
Can we please STOP getting "Ensign" stations on these ships!? It's more annoying than anything and I'd rather just have two Lt. Stations instead. Or at the VERY least make it Universal instead of Engineering! There's almost no reason to get these ships except for the traits. The other Pilot ships are much better.
Mark my words, Improved Gravity Well and Promise of Ferocity will get nerfed balanced, sooner or later. Compared to other stuff we have currently, they are horribly potent outliers.

At least not Ensign Engineering. Because Engineering typically requires a Lt. station (so you can do EPtW2/EPtS1). So an Ensign Engineering station is, for the most part, simply useless (you'd rather slot a single HE1 there, or something).

Please, don't give 'em any ideas!
I sadly presume they already had those ideas when they designed those traits. All I'm trying to do here is to prevent lots of unhappy players who bought the ships for exceptionally good traits, only to see them being close to useless a month or 2 later. It's not a novel scenario, is it?

Yeah, you're right, of course. And I would likely be among the unhappy ones (because I always get suckered in).
Hopefully, there's also a bit of truth in what nommo said, that "This way they can add new items to buy to reclaim the levels of powers players already had at one point," and that they won't nerf *everything* into the ground.
but those Miracle Worker ships offered the 12th slot so who knows for sure.
Pretty sure that is strictly a Miracle Worker ship thing with that universal console slot. EVERY specialist ship has something that makes it unique versus non specialist ships.
Intel has cloaks, some improved stealth, and intel gathering.
Command has inspiration mechanic that can buff the team
Pilot has Pilot maneuvers
Temporal has a stat buff light
Miracle Worker has the extra console and whatever else they have.

Very good point.
I still expect more & more different "gimmicks" lacking a more accurate description for future ships to add potential value to the ship hopefully without an increased price but importantly without calling it a "T7".
Will the Andorian ships have access to Starfleet bridges as well as the Andorian one?
If the past is any indicator I'm guessing so. I also think these T6 Andorians will probably be able to utilize the T5 skins though I haven't seen an official remark yet on it.
With the Specialization system, we have dang near infinite lateral level progression. All we need is a new spec tree to start filling up. A new tier of ships would logically require a verticle level cap increase, which the way the ranks and ship tiers are structured logically doesn't work out at all.
If the past is any indicator I'm guessing so. I also think these T6 Andorians will probably be able to utilize the T5 skins though I haven't seen an official remark yet on it.
Nerfbait. Looking at the traits (the gw and damage one especially), I can see both (well, more likely the science trait as pvpers never complain about damage buffs to their vape builds, only things that might weaken them) getting the stinky end of a nerf stick after a sales related grace period
I'm definitely not going for these at least until summer to make sure I get to see the 'adjusted' version
On a different note, how about some info on kitbashability, using the predecessor ship consoles and so on please
Also... any justification why the rom ship does not have singularity drive despite being a bona fide rom ship?
Certainly puts a cramp in the DPSers. Making Science a big time contender.
I'll have to pick it up at some point myself.
Well if we're talking DPS...honestly things will be dead before a double duration GW runs out...heck with a decent group they can easily be killed before a standard duration GW runs out.

Isn't much elite content out there, don't see people play it often. Besides we're talking DPS here...people don't judge DPS off elite content...they judge it off the easiest content.
Even with this trait I still don't see Science overtaking a Tac Beam build...but I could be wrong but only time will tell (And I'm sure it will get nerfed if anything gets close enough to their precious tac beam boats)
No, with Promise of Ferocity in play, sci builds won't overtake "conventional" energy builds for sure.
However, my ballpark estimate for IGW, on my own build, would be something like up to +30k DPS (that's including both higher ability uptime and lowered enemy dmg resistance). And in CCA it could very well be a 3-digit number.
Mind you, that's a single trait (potentially) giving that kind of numbers.
P.S. Plenty of people who measure their DPS in HSE. I wouldn't say that's a very easy map.

I disagree. Ensign engineering stations can be useful.
When I'm flying a science-heavy ship, I use the lt. tac station for tactical team and one torpedo ability. Adding another tac ability will usually only result in overlap between cooldowns (beam and cannon abilities are useless on a torpedo boat and science ships already have their innate subsystem targeting). So then I choose an engineer for an universal station.
On Tac-heavy ships, there is no need to fill up an ensign universal station with a tac ability. Unless there is no other science station, there usually isn't much need to put a science officer in the universal ensign station either.
Engineers usually take the universal ensign stations anyway in my case so it doesn't matter and having it as an engineering ensign station would be useful too.
Besides all that, to reply to the person you were replying to: the fact that you get an ensign station means you also get a higher (lt cmdr.) station somewhere else. Which allows for more specialisation so I disagree even more with the notion that ensign stations in general are useless.

I thought the Xechas would come with a CAA console. You know... in case you get a warp core breakdown in the middle of the delta quadrant, you can call for a free tow.
