But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Now, allow me to be blunt. Any ship or indeed any thing that appears in any of the "New" Star Trek films (Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness et al) will never, ever, ever be included in this game due to the licensing issues related with it.
Period.
The best you'll ever see from JJVerse is the Red Matter Capacitor. Which you can't get anymore. Which, by the way, is technically from the Prime Universe and is therefore not actually from the Alternate Reality Star Trek universe anyway.
I swear the next person who asks "Can we have X from the JJVerse Star Trek" will get this answer, copypaste style.
