Sci vessels and heavy tac BO ships are both good for what your wanting to do. Get a few Projectile officers from omega rep to lower reload times and you're golden either way. Sci heavy ships will let you go big with GW and the such to clump mobs together and take them out with clusters and the little need for weapon power…
I have two torp boats that use the Adapted MACO 2 set... both are Sci so I run high aux and have good healing and support abilities. One is a Hanom full plasma and a Fed DSSV full Trans with a breen cluster in the frt and the back; only exception to this full type is a Grav photon up frt for a chance of a well proc to hold…
Unless you go full Flow caps you're not going to see much shield drain from Tach Beam (I have about 250+ on my drain boat) and even then if your target has Hazard emitters he's going to clear it. Try and get a TBR to push your target into your rifts or try and stack it with a grav well to get better effect out of it. A lot…
The new SA has totally changed how I fly my Sci Ships. I have moved away form a offensive role and more into a supportive role. Letting my team pick out the target and holding my SA for the moment of much needed support. On my drain boat just getting that SA on the target before stripping them is great, and if a team mate…
yes, I was doing a 1v1 with a friend testing out my drain build and after he wanted to que up together so I could drain and he could burn hull.... but alias, my toon was KDF and his was fed.
Well, lets take a look at the ability. http://sto.gamepedia.com/Ability:_Gravity_Well well it's going to put you in a high aux build to start things off as well it's going to put you towards Starship Graviton Generators (also works well with tractor abilities) making a high hold and pull build, or Starship Particle…
Fair enough. I should add I've only flown in support heavy boats and have not tried cruisers or escorts yet, and some one always jumps ship and leaves at the start. Over all though reward to time investment is not really worth it, the battle zone is a far better grind, so I'm putting this one for my Fleet's weekly STF run.
It's long and it's tedious, but first things first, unless you're a ubah tanking/dpsing beast don't go any where by your self. Group up and push a lane together all the way to the end then do the next and the next. Npc ship has to be able to get close enough to scan rift, once it is targetable every one should melt it down…
Current bugs seem mostly centered around graphics and the new trait system.... which is to be expected seeing as that was the two major changes coming with S9 now when the OP stating that this is the worst season ever? I have to agree with others S4 was a nightmare... and really I was not effected by most of the bugs that…
I'm a straight male, with many many TRIBBLE and trans friends, and even I know a LGBT fleet/guild just makes sense. No much common ground with them will put me on a understanding with accepts of their lives that only other TRIBBLE/trans will get. Personally I love LGBT friendly groups in gaming some of the most friendly TS…
Have to agree Rift is worth it. have watched shields drop the other day with a well timed rift and knocking out someone's engines or having them pulled into it. It just has to be well timed
unless you are building a support boat for drains where you would invest into flowcaps it's not really that flashy of a skill (heck up until I was reading up for my own drain boat I didn't even know it could be trained on a tac doff. ) currently in game I have 253 flow cap and it set's the drain to about 71 to targeted…
Well today is a good day to check out the fleet, I'll be online though out the day while I'm trying to gear out a new toon so any questions I'll be around to answer, just pm me in game or here.
Ok, so Taking this mans advice I have scrapped and gone back to my romulan build with some changes http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=rommiescidrainbuild_0 Going 3 deflector doffs for the CD reduction on drains Still working on what the other 2 will be. This is not in any way going to be a dps monster, that was…
ok thank you http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=scikdfdrainv2_0 this is what I've got now, I switched to KDF now so I could get a carrier under previous suggestions, hope I was not led astray
Well seeing as I choose the drain build cause my preferred play style is support, I don't think that's going to be a problem. I mainly want to build a ship that's going to help disable a ship so a team mate can get a easy kill.
ok that was something I was rather unaware off, never tried putting my romulan toons into non republic ships... I'll just dump the toon and start new then
