I've had good success with the Orange Space 14 backdrop, that seems to reflect off a decent amount of bloom. Looking at your set up though, I don't think you'll be able to get uniform lighting with your centerpiece right between the two objects you want to illuminate, but you're welcome to try.
The devs get us what they can when they can, but getting things is by no means a guarantee. It's usually devs who like the Foundry and go above and beyond their normal duties to try and get us new things.
Not taking as argumentative, I'm happy try and answer as best as I can. I don't know that they would target adding assets for specific missions. They do try and push assets our way when they can. These are usually items from more recent cryptic missions or often-requested assets. It's not a lot of new assets, but we do…
So unfortunately, this would be logistically unfeasible. Foundry missions aren't like Cryptic missions. There more of an entry in a database than a exported file. So any attempt by the Cryptic team would be a complete rebuild from the ground up. It's essentially asking the Cryptic team to stop making official mission and…
I think if there's anything I was truly blown away by with these missions, it was they way you guys took the Starbase Magellan concept and made it your own. It feels like a real place, like Deep Space 9, out on the edge of known space. Excellent work, all of you!
Alright, so this might be a long shot, but go through your dialog tree list and look for any dialog trees that don't belong. Sometimes dialogs can end up orphaned and produce a similarly obtuse error.
Just to make it clear. The Foundry it part of an officially-licenced product, i.e. Star Trek Online. The EULA is there to specify what is considered OK for a Foundry mission. This is why we in the Foundry community take the EULA so seriously. If you're not in violation of the EULA, you are essentially operating with the…
My fastest-developed mission took me about a month. Others I've done/am doing have taken years. That said, I'm fairly meticulous so it I'll spend a week fine-tuning a map. We did a live build of a mission on Foundry Roundtable in about 5 hours, but it was pretty rough around the edges.
I doublechecked and yest this should be 0. Yeah, I didn't realize when I placed it that there was a console here already. Here are the new coordinates:x=19.799; y=0; z=24.369; rotation=90 As to the chairs you mentioned, just adjust them as needed. Unlike consoles, they're not fixed objects.
So simply put, putting the Foundry on consoles isn't practical. The consoles will be on different servers than PC. Even more than that, if they use Neverwinter as the model, PC and Consoles won't even have the same release schedule. This means that at any given time, The PC and console versions won't be on the same code…
So this would be the ideal scenario for us. I think we all assumed that falling forever would be bad, so an invisible floor is the logical solution. Having the floor have any texture means we have to work extra hard to hide it.
Alright, @galactickiri, I have a present for you. I've published a Foundry mission called "Screenshot Photobooth". You'll have to look for it in the review tab. It's a single map that puts your away team in an invisible box in space. You can use it to take space shots to your heart's content. The door is at Starfleet…
Not a lot. I love map building. It's one of my favorite things to do in the Foundry. I'll throw on a few Star Trek episodes on Netflix in the background and hours will go by without me realizing it. I have to be careful though or I'll end up staying up late into the wee hours of the morning.
