The "shake" means the lack of acceleration process. Also the energy bolt for DHC is too fat in my opinion. And I know it's an issue of personal taste, but the visual effects in ST 2009 are better than the older movies due to improved tech and more money invested. At least I wouldn't call it horrible.
Even if you stack up four tac consoles, fill all the weapon skills and get 125 power, and would only be around 300 dps maybe. Unless of course the photo was taken after using Beam Overload.

Basically the existing random pvp battle is absolutely out of balance, that escorts kick the TRIBBLE of all other ships. Sure in 1 on 1 fight all classes seems to be well balanced----cruisers can heal fast, science ship can exploit the enemy. But in a 5 vs 5 or 10 vs 10 game, only escorts can kill and stay alive. Try…
