Holy lag and rubberbanding batman... I just got an afk penalty in a TFO because my ship just kept jumping back and forth and I couldn't even ESC the cutscene. On Drozana I just bounce around, everyone else too. It was a bit of a lag on the weekdays but nothing like today, not sure if I can play until maybe very late when…
Yes, it seems like it. I've done 5, my bf 14, Khitomer Vortex Advanced so 19 all in all. Two accounts, different races, varied loadouts, various ships, agressive use of TAC BOFF powers and not a single gun jammed. So yes, it seems like it is fixed. Thank you developers. :)
Ok so, I think we may have this turned around. I did a game earlier and just watched my bf do six KVAs in a row with different characters and setups and both of us did not lose a single gun. Playing agressively, using BO and such as often as one could. No guns lost. This has not happened since pre-25th. So it could be the…
Maybe my eyes are old, but I only found one guy who reported it working 1.5 hours before the patch went live? My guess is they need more than one report before shooting it in to a live patch though. There's nothing worse than announcing a fix that turns out to not work after all, so probably making sure. Still, I wish…
Tried that early on, but they will eventually glitch out or at least they did for me. Might take a bit longer, and some of the short TFOs they last, but eventually the went offline...
Seems I spoke too soon, after not using auto-fire for a while in the end the bug came "back" and disabled guns none-the-less. Yes, seems like it. We, the users, have tried a lot of things now and reported back to the devs in this thread and support tickets. Hope they makes sense of it and a fix is released this week.
Ok, just did a 'Remain Klingon' TFO (ended 12:05am CET) and 'Khitomer Vortex Advanced' (ended 12:28am CET) without auto-fire enabled and all my guns made it through both missions without issues. So yeah, this seems like an ad-hoc "fix". You'll have to manually push your fire-button every 1-3 seconds depending on armament…
When I first encountered the bug I dabbled in turning auto-fire on/off but had no luck back then, though I quickly moved on to find the trigger point which is BOFF direct energy weapon buffs, which also includes Intel' 'Surgical Strikes'. I'll test this today, again, and see if I moved on from it too fast though if turning…
The 'Remain Klingon' TFO? Yeah... even so many days after I am surprised that so few have understood how you do it. It's one of the simplest TFOs out there, it is not hard at all to get what is going on. Even if you get turned around when you get your green circle you can just look at the carriers and see which one has the…
Leaving the map "works", getting ganked some times work, but removing and re-equipping the weapons never worked on this end... Tried it quite a few times.

What we've consistently found out is that activating a TAC weapons buff like Overload, Fire at will, Rapid fire and so on will cause the bug to happen after a while. Some times it is within minutes, some times it can take a bit longer. If this action interacts with something else that is triggering we have yet to identify,…
I think you are missing the point here. It has absolutely nothing to do with FX in any way. It has to do with guns stop working, doing ZERO damage. Read through all the post and you should see what it is all about.
This isn't a graphical issue though. Weapons stop working, and the trigger is using TAC direct energy damage abilities like Overload, Fire at Will, Cannon Scatter Volley, Cannon Rapid Fire and so on and so forth.
That gives some comfort I guess, but it's a long way until next Thursday unless it is a quick server-side fix. Fingers crossed I guess, and thank you for finding this.
Yes. Direct damage abilities like Overload, Fire at Will, Scattery Volley and so on is either the main issue or a definate part of it. Indirect abilities though like Kemocite-Laced Weaponry still work. But TFO's pretty much take a whole lot longer and you have BOFF seatings you can't use. Which is... sad. As people have…
^^ THIS Me and my bf have tested it, so two different accounts. Not using TAC abilities that affects directed energy weapons and no guns were taken offline. BUT... the weird thing is, if we're playing the newest TFO 'Remain Klingon' we can use all the abilities we want... Still, this is a gamebreaking bug to say the least…
Oh it affects aft alright, I lost 5 out of 6 guns twice today. Four fore and one aft. At least four times in a row one of the aft guns was the first to go... Try doing 'Khitomer Vortex', as it is "longer" as TFOs go and at the end of it at least 3 guns are gone on a regular basis.
That would mean the .hogg files are corrupt, which again would mean the same corruption occured after patching for everyone affected and that chance is way to high for me to believe in tbh. EDIT: Since I no longer have anything to do and fiber to boot I decided to re-install just for the heck of it, and it did not help.…
I've sent a support ticket explaining the issue, taking care to mention that I have indeed switched weapons/ships/loadouts to no avail. Asked them if developers are aware of the issue, so I guess I'll see later on if they are. Perhaps this issue was too complex to fix fast and thus didn't make it in to today's patch,…
*sigh* yeah, confirmed, bug still exists after patch. How do they expect us to play this game for another week when quite often all guns are taken out of the game and you're left with one or two torpedo launchers and pets if you are lucky? :/ Has anyone found any official acknowledgements of this bug from devs anywhere on…
Yeah, this happens to me too. Removing and putting weapons back in-battle does not work, have to exit battle and re-enter. I had four guns out of service in a TFO, thankfully I had pets. Some TFOs we really mow stuff down early and then it's like the DPS of the whole team just dips and everyone's a bit confused. I guess as…
On option 2, the 1500 Lobi, it says "Once per account, on the character you claim them with.". Does that mean those Lobi are character bound now? Last year the description was "This choice is only made once per Account, upon claiming the prize.", so just making sure I understand it correctly. :)
I'm not able to claim it for my Fed or KDF as they are level 11 and 9 respectively. So it seems you need to be level 50 to claim it so other characters can use it later on.
Hmm, I kinda just started not too long ago and have a Romulan fed at level 60 so that ship was no problem. Does that mean I can't claim the Defiant and the B'Rel on my low level Fed and KDF unless I superlevel them to 50 during the next 24 hours?
