Weapons Won't Fire

I have this glitch where four of my beam weapons will NOT fire at all, depsite it's charged and ready.

There's no debuff, and even Beam, Fire At Will, yields no result, only two OR one of my beam array/bank(s) fire.

    I noticed something similar with torpedos, activating Torpedo high yield, it was charged and ready, was within the firing arc but would not fire at all.

    So far, only beams are affected. Not sure about cannons and turrets, I have a Mirror Patrol Escort, but it's TRIBBLE by today's update--you can't upgrade, so no usage.

    I see from the pic the last two weapons (far right)you dont have on auto fire.

    Anyway un slotting you weapons then putting them back again should work. You may need to map move first while they are un slotted before you re slot them.

    It happend to me with cannons, luckily I was on a carrier... pets cleared the map. I restarted the game, been fine since.
    Remember, getting mad at me and taking it out on your keyboard.... just means you need a new keyboard ;)

    Cannons are affected, I had that happen on my epic crafted disruptor DHC & turret with rapid mod, couldn't unjam them no matter what I tried.

    Hanger Pet auto-firing is also affected, it will just stop working mid-combat.

    I've noticed during a Japori Patrol, my aft Torpedo launcher was disabled for the duration of the patrol. When I entered the Carraya patrol, my forward singular cannon and aft turret and phaser beam bank were disabled. This was today, just within the past 15 minutes.

    Same here, had it on multiple toons now. The worst was when all my front cannons were disabled on a TFO. It's really fun to play a TFO in an escort without front weapons. :disappointed:

    Same, in the UI it shows as if the weapon is out of arc. The only fix I have found is to disengage and then dismount and remount the weapon

    I'm glad i'm not the only person hitting this issue. I've been running my KDF recruit through the events for the rep dailies, but since they added the new missions, there are times where my weapons, (cannons, turrets, 1 torp) will just refuse to fire. The autofire is on, they are able to be buffed, the countdowns run like nothing is wrong, but it seems to be one character more specifically than everyone, though i haven't tested that fully, yet.

    This have been affecting me too. The only fix I have found is to exit the map/mission and come back in. : /

    Yeah, this happens to me too. Removing and putting weapons back in-battle does not work, have to exit battle and re-enter. I had four guns out of service in a TFO, thankfully I had pets. Some TFOs we really mow stuff down early and then it's like the DPS of the whole team just dips and everyone's a bit confused. I guess as this goes on more and more people will notice the cause of it, as I did not notice until after a while what was going on... :/

    4 WEAPONS AND BEAM WEAPON. I have purposely set my projectile weapons to fire on manual.

    No, moving it back to inventory and reslotting them yields no result.

    Yea I have the same problems with my turret build. I just had to passively follow my team during the second half of ISA Nothing I did would fire my weapons and I had no debuffs. Neither Keyboard, mouse or hud buttons would make my turrets fire. Didn't matter if I had a free line of sight or anything.

    Also experiencing this it seem almost as though if your ship is capable of being used after the tutorial and gradually unlocks that these locks are been applied during tfos so your ship is disabled down 40 / 30 / 20. I see thick white lines locking out certain wepon slots and even if i remove or reslot, it makes no difference in TFO,s. Certain patrols such as doing Argala has no negative effects everything appears normal , but anything with klingons is affected new content and older(ish) Theres many TFO's I havent done so I dont know what others are affected and personaly I dont want to do a TFO where my capabilities are reduced and it is just going to cause issues with other players when im going to be less effective..

    Got the same problem with my turret build, some turrets grey out or get a whit border, seam to lock down autofire as well on the other turrets, can move the turrets out and back so far, and make them work again, how ever, some of the consoles was grey out, in the ship layout as well, and the ship's layout save, was "out of order" if you will, nothing happens press the save, other then the out of order tag is removed.

    can confirm the bug is still here after the todays update, weapons still lockout and wont fire

    *sigh* yeah, confirmed, bug still exists after patch. How do they expect us to play this game for another week when quite often all guns are taken out of the game and you're left with one or two torpedo launchers and pets if you are lucky? :/ Has anyone found any official acknowledgements of this bug from devs anywhere on the 'net btw?

    I got a reply to a ticket which suggests there is as of yet no acknowledgement of this issue....

    "I understand that your weapons/skills are not working during TFOs and Patrols. Please try to switch ships and loadouts, then switch them back to see if it would resolve the issue. You can also edit your loadouts and update them before trying to check if the issue would still persist"

    ^ seriously......

    I've sent a support ticket explaining the issue, taking care to mention that I have indeed switched weapons/ships/loadouts to no avail. Asked them if developers are aware of the issue, so I guess I'll see later on if they are. Perhaps this issue was too complex to fix fast and thus didn't make it in to today's patch, possibly coming out as a hotfix soon[tm], and if so and thus developers are aware I can at least live with it being fixed soon. Really don't want to switch games at this point as I've been having a lot of fun in STO the past months. Cross my fingers for this one.

    I've found at least 3 more threads about this same bug, and I came across this:
    Well I had a message from one of my subscribers who advised me to uninstall the game. I have done this and the game is now working. Hope this helps everyone.
    Does anybody else agree with this?

    That would mean the .hogg files are corrupt, which again would mean the same corruption occured after patching for everyone affected and that chance is way to high for me to believe in tbh.

    EDIT: Since I no longer have anything to do and fiber to boot I decided to re-install just for the heck of it, and it did not help. Same problem as before, so that guy's theory is bunk.

    As I said in my edit in that post, I just re-installed and it didn't fix anything. So I would say no on that one.

    From what I have noticed this only affects fore weapons and not aft. I have gotten it mainly with dual cannon builds, but people are mentioning beams as well. It seems random, but really common. I have tried auto firing them, manually firing them, only firing at the start of combat, etc and it still seems to happen. For me at least unequipping does not fix the issue. Only leaving the zone or dying does, both of which are a major problem in task forces. The only build running at 100% efficiency is mine layers lol.

    Oh it affects aft alright, I lost 5 out of 6 guns twice today. Four fore and one aft. At least four times in a row one of the aft guns was the first to go... Try doing 'Khitomer Vortex', as it is "longer" as TFOs go and at the end of it at least 3 guns are gone on a regular basis.

    Yesterday, my 2 aft weapons (Phaser Turret + Phaser Beam Array) were definitely affected during the Carraya Patrol. In the Japori Patrol, it was my aft Photon Torpedo launcher.
