Your fun doesn't matter, instead metrics do : afkers are good for metrics, as well as active players and this game desperately needs metrics so ... deal with it ;-)

@warpangel if they remove marks from Borg Red Alert, it would be counterproductive for the game itself. E.g. a new player wants to get some marks and the queues are dead , except for ISA and CCA

Never seen rep queues taking so long to start right after their reputation release. Perhaps they should already add the competitive marks into the Red Borg Alert choice of marks, like they did with the Lukari ( still their queues were faster ).

@risingwolfshadow I guess you know that there are and there have been many better escorts than the Defiant, unfortunately . @sheldonlcooper It is not forced pvp if RAs will have choice of marks like it was for Lukari for example

Might hop on and have a look if I have will and time just because I have resources but I can't guarantee about that since I am currently engaged with other focused games, which are far better.

@peterconnorfirst Could be that the change will kill Nukara Self Destructive tendencies Elite public queues, which didn't even use to pop that often before . Wonder what is going to happen to Bug Hunt Elite public queue which, few months ago, used to pop definitely more often than Nukara.

@iconians Since almost all of the queues are dead, they give people the opportunity to do something and gain some marks slowly . There are even the Lukari marks, which are the new present marks right now. Mastery-wise, Borg is good, Tholian is TRIBBLE .

Back in the day when I was doing pvp here, I made a screenshot of the screen green pop-up "Lyle was defeated by Arthas Temer" : mind you, I wasn't alone but still ... :dizzy: Now that I think of, I might make the guide "how to maximize your partgens like a 14 year old minmaxer" but, unfortunately, I am busy on other games…

We probably got this map thanks to console players (as a gift for them) because I can't see any other profitable reason . On console, pvp is very much alive because you can't stack too much TRIBBLE there like on pc, therefore why should they fix it even if they could ? They make enough money from power creep and space…

Actually afaik it's far more alive than on PC and it might keep alive for a while longer, due to the inner console limitations in powers stacking. From my short experience, I think you can be definitely indestructible in a 1 vs. 1 if you set up a ship like that with all heals ... and then have some for others. Just the TSS was cutting in half his "alpha" strike and I had only one HE and one TSS. And the timing of abilities in offence and defence felt a lot like that…

That shameful bug was known among pvpers since a long time, perhaps before summer? But I don't know how many actually knew the way to make it proc. Maybe if there woud have been a better communication between devs and pvpers ... oh wait wrong season.
