I will have to inspect my old Foundry missions and make sure this hasn't messed them up. More than one of my mission is very dialog based. I imagine it would be asking the developers too much, to allow the user to choose what style of dialog interface to use. That would be just silly giving people options...

Level scale as in you need to be level 41+ to fight the Borg? You can dress up (costume) low level mobs as the Borg. You can do this to ships as well. The Cube will scan as the other ship but allow lower levels to play the mission. I never cared much for the locking out of lower level players.

I simply refuse to use the "Arc Launcher". I am old school and use the original Cryptic Launcher to this day. All I know is, I can get on and off without issue, and I don't have extra crud hogging more memory than needed. I highly recommend dumping the Arc. I don't know if it will help, but it sure can't hurt.
