Totally disagree, it's the same ship that you would pay for. Only difference is that it's stats will be changed. Stats by themselves are nothing of course, it's how they compare to rest of the stats around in the game. I have the same issue, first time it patched up to about 48%, then the bar stopped moving for couple of hours. I closed it and opened again, now it looks like it is not patching at all.
