Just do a Google search for new star trek mmo. Besides star citizen will be out soon and I'd rather play that anyhow. Beats this game to tiny pieces.

I am also having the same issue. You dont get recognized when the hidden door opens. Kind of really annoying. I wanted that bridge officer.

For me, My issue apparently was caused by an option in the video settings in star trek online. The option "World Detail Distance" was set to its lowest setting. So I upped it and the grey went away completely. I just put it on the highest setting. So you might play around with those settings some and see what happens. But…

Im Having the same issue. My icons at first disappeared from my hotbar and the colors and other stuff was boxes. So i didnt play again until today.
