I think I'm going to be sick. The TRIBBLE production team has no respect. No respect for lore and canon, no respect for established aesthetics and design philosophies, no respect for story telling, no respect for its characters except the lead, and above all, no respect for the audience.
Not only is that thing ugly and should be hauled away as garbage, but that whole "dissassemble to quickly face backwards" does not make any sense, as it would be far faster, and not compromise structural integrity, to just rotate the ship 180° along its long axis.
It's like they took the low poly model of the SC Cain from Freespace 1, slapped a generic "metal plating" texture on it, and called it a day. The creative bankruptcy of TRIBBLE is simply staggering.
Well, so much for a "return to exploration". Smells like the Iconian war all over again, just with the Temporal Cold War sticker on its forehead. Also, the star in the system is a blue giant. They are so short lived that it is very! unlikely that the system surrounding it would have enough time to develope life, much less…
They could just fill the exploration clusters with user created foundry missions and just do some basic curating. Encourage users to create exploration missions, and reward the inclusion of their missions with a substantial amount of dilithium.
The scamminess of this movie is truly mind boggling. But considering the amount of hackfraudery you pulled recently (hideous dilithium sinks, horrible xp grind from 50 to 60, horrible spec point grind, and massive xp nerfing in both missions and doffing), not unexpected.
We go back in time, transport the entire iconian population to the present, and thus prevent them from turning vengeful. Then we marry one of those sexxxxxy iconian chicks.
To demand a working, non-defective product as a paying customer, whether they be a lifetime subscriber, regular subscriber, or even just a one time zen-store buyer, is not entitlement. It is a right.
The entire ground combat needs to be redone. It is too static, and rubbery, and too dependent on stats, rather than player skill. This whole auto-aim thing is just horrible. It needs to be more fluid and responsive. Increase weapons fire rate, remove the auto-aim, and make cover actually useful. Like the system used in…
Wouldn't that be nice. You could work around the "dumb AI" issue by defining custom rulesets per ship. Like the Gambit System they had in Final Fantasy 12. When enemy shield is down -> fire torpedoes When health/shields drop below X% -> apply hull/shield heal. same with debuffs an buffs. Keep a certain distance from…
With the amount of lazytude displayed by the new rep armour, we'd be lucky if "Delta Flight" is an actual episode, and not just a PVE-queued event (as hinted to by "elite teams will make surgical strikes against the enemy. Join them in "Delta Flight"")
0. Destroy all space based defences, like stations and ships. 1. Destroy all satellites and deep-sea telekom lines to disrupt planetary communication. 2. Destroy all planetary defences that could offend my space based forces. 3. Destroy all airforce bases. 4. Destroy all military bases. 5. Destroy the power grid. 6.…
They also look supremely lazy, as if they were designed in less than an hour. Just take a basic humanoid shape, make it shiny, draw some random lines on it, and slap some bits from the part bin on it. 60's B-SciFi movie costumes: Done!
actually NW is better in that regard, because you can farm its version of Dilithium using its gateway, and convert that into zen. easily 1000zen in 1 or 2 weeks with 4+ characters.
