http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Raining_Stardust/?action=view¤t=main-background3.jpg You can download the original size there I think. I didn't do the Romulan thing, sorry. Feel free to edit it more though. :)
I made this real fast. I moved her eyes, zipped up her shirt, and gave her a more greenish tinge. I didn't bother trying to fix that foreshortening with my limited skills and couldn't fix her back either... What do you guys think? We already knew about the eye thing but I think closing her shirt also helps take the…
These are great to see. New Romulus is a gorgeous environment and I love seeing all the work that you all out into it. I hope that you guys find time to expand places like Andoria with this much care, or add other worlds to freely explore, like Betazed maybe? I love exploring the strange new worlds you create.
Quoted because this is basically the whole point. There's all sorts of ladies in Star Trek but we don't have to represent the lot of them with a seductive alien lady. There are so many better examples of women portrayed in Star Trek you could've used, too, like Captain Janeway or Major Kira. I'd also like to mention that…
The problem isn't all in our heads. It's in society. It's in you guys saying the problem isn't real. These aren't internal sexism issues, they're issues women have to deal with ever day of our lives. Until you've walked a day in a woman's shoes, surrounded with images of what women should be according to men, feeling the…
Okay. I'll refer to the settings as humanoid 1 and 2, just for you hun. Especially since you're right that the epicanthic fold which makes the "asian" eyes is also present in other races. There's still no way to mix humanoid 1 and 2. Believe me, I've tried. I love the character creator and have spent hours on my characters…
As a person of mixed race, I actually find it offensive that the "Asian" and the "Caucasian" features are separated the way they are. Peoples features exist more on a gradient of sorts if anything. Put eyes and nose shape on two different sliders, along with everything else. Also, let women have flat chests if they want…
You are missing the point. The point is the objectification of women is rampant in our society and it needs to be fixed. You can argue that men are also objectified but not at all to the extent that women are. I totally agree that a woman should be allowed to wear whatever they want, including revealing tops, but the…
Attractive people aren't crude and shallow. The person who drew this kinda is though. The woman isn't an object, she's objectified, meaning more emphasis is being placed on her dreamy longing gaze at the viewer and her gigantic TRIBBLE than on her firing that phaser and being a Starfleet officer. It can be argued that her…
I totally agree about the arms thing. Horrible foreshortening there. It's like the artist tried but when they couldn't pull it off they just blew it off instead of trying again or trying a different pose. And wow moving the eyes makes a world of difference. I think I'd be a lot less upset if they actually had her checking…
Wow guys. My whole thread got moved into this one? I get that this is the place to discuss big TRIBBLE the Vulcan but my thread was about sexism in STO. :\ Hope they're getting the message.
I know this is a male dominated game but why is it necessary to use big TRIBBLE the Vulcan as the image for season seven? They're here for the Trek, not for the women. If they wanted women they could play some other MMO, where the ladies wear not much more than nipple covers and armored panties. I understood the Orions not…
I've been seeing the white blobs in the Red Alerts for several days now. Makes it extremely difficult to play since it slows you way down. Whatever they're supposed to be they're not necessary at all. Better to just get rid of them if it fixes the problem.
