The introductory story to STO: The Peacemakers is now posted on my Google Drive. (It's actually been up for about two weeks now, and I've been promoting it on Twitter and the project blog, but I just now remembered to announce it here too.) "Breaking Hearts and Promises" introduces the lead character, Jomiah Drayton. For…
I am planning a relaunch/semi-reboot of my Foundry mission continuity as text-based STO fanfiction, revolving around my player characters and patterned somewhat after MCU's Avengers. I've started a portal blog for the project, which I have christened STO: The Peacemakers.
As you might imagine, the impending Foundry sunset means the wedding (at least the Foundry one) is off. I have deleted that mission, along with my other incomplete Foundry projects - but not before taking a bunch of screenshots of the work I had done up to that point. I posted them on Twitter last week.
That's weird - I am using the same settings for Lower and Belt, but the Belt Accessory options aren't in the editor at all for me. Immediately below the Belt settings are Hips Attach Left and Right.
I'll add them to the guest list, but I already have entertainment lined up. Another veteran author, drogyn1701 is fond of auto racing and racing-themed costumes with helmets, so I have created a Daft Punk cover band, Drogyn Punk, to perform at the reception in his honor. :)
The "Belt Accessory" settings aren't available in the Foundry costume editor, but other than that and the broken head/legs options, I was able to produce a reasonable facsimile of Natisha.
Seconded. I put in the code and it was accepted, but I have no idea how to actually claim the tardigrade on a character because the e-mail doesn't say how.
I don't see her hair or uniform settings here. I can guess at them based on the picture at the bottom but if you have the actual settings that would be great.
I can put her in an Odyssey dress uniform (my go-to uni for the occasion as mentioned previously) with a black Intel stripe. Does she have a rank to put pips on her collar?
A few quick updates: I've revised the mission story somewhat. Now there's no longer a "jack-in-the-box" involved; the craziness that transpires during the ceremony will be (more or less) intentional. It's also a more tightly themed wedding, based on a certain event in Star Trek lore. I'm even giving it a "soundtrack", a…
Yeah, might as well. I might not be able to fully recreate it just yet though, at least until the editor is fixed. Also I might go in a different direction with her involvement - instead of Worf I'm thinking of having her connect with Aran'tikar and/or Irla, the Dominion representatives at this wedding. (Probably not…
Does she at least drink Romulan ale? One thing I'm considering is a new version of the scene with drunk Worf at the Riker-Troi wedding in Nemesis, and Worf is one of the stock NPCs. Mirwast getting drunk with Worf could be epic. :)
I have made a Google Docs spreadsheet to keep track of who's contributing which characters. The grayed-out ones near the bottom are my own characters that I'll put in if we don't get enough contributed ones. Once the top list meets the bottom one, I'll start replacing the grayed-out characters with any additional…
I'll check but I don't think he's available as a stock NPC. I do plan to have several other stock characters in attendance; in fact I tentatively have Admiral Quinn serving in the "father of the bride" role.
The Legion of Myth crew recently gave this mission a go on their livestream a couple of weeks ago. I've also recommended it to the Foundry Roundtable crew.
I've just completed a trilogy of sorts - originally meant to be one story but it turned out so long that I ended up breaking it into two and finally three parts. It is the tale of Irla's (from "The Hundredth") role in the Victory Is Life storyline, which doubles as the origin story for my Jem'Hadar toon Aran'tikar. The…
Here are a few more (of mine) to add to the list:* Ghosts of War, Part I (ST-HBPDJHGFE, 2746 plays as of this post) * Ghosts of War, Part II (ST-HI6PMJ2Y8, 1577 plays) * Ghosts of War, Part III (ST-HLAJXIZUN, 1272 plays) * Ghosts of War, Part IV (ST-HFDLKG5XV, 1066 plays) * Ghost's Gambit [Ico] (ST-HJ6XD8SJH, 424 plays) *…
Update: This problem seems to have gone away. Publish is still slower than usual (it seems to linger unusually long on the aforementioned progress %'s) but at least now it does eventually complete.
Do you have a standardized format in mind for these intelligence reports? (I'd like to write one up relating to ECLIPSE, which would tie into my in-progress Total ECLIPSE cross-factional series.)
Here are the base costume settings for two alien races I created for my own missions and whom I both expect to be independent but allied powers in the 26th Century, in case you'd like to use them as extras or minor characters in your missions. First, the Nivayans (featured in the Valley of the Shadow series): * Head Type:…
Probably aboard the Ent-J. Originally I had Irla coming with a small Vorta/Jem'Hadar entourage but that is not necessary. She could insist on going alone and the Vorta and Jem'Hadar wouldn't dare stop her.
Here are Irla's costume sliders and additional character information (also posted on my blog): Vitals:* Name: Irla * Race: Changeling * Sex: Androgynous; presents as vaguely female (and may be referenced using feminine pronouns) * Allegiance: Dominion * Rank: Founder/"god(dess?)" * Role: Expedition "observer" Appears in…
Why not just make them holographic chairs, that follow the same solidity "rules" as chairs in a holodeck program would? That way you could just use regular chair assets (even sittable ones) and trigger them in/out as needed.
