The Tommy gun was an account unlock for the event, it should be an account unlock from the Zstore too. It's kind of silly that it isn't.

Yeah, I don't understand why the Tommy Gun isn't account unlock. That bundle is really overpriced even at the discount. I bought it thinking everything was an account unlock. Was unpleasantly surprised.

That was my initial thought as well, that they had updated the NPC and somehow un-linked or removed the quest.

Was logged out for a few hours... played on another character for a few more... still broken.

There is another thread for this issue... posted there and posting here for visibility, tried all the suggestions but deleting and starting over.. and waited over 3 hours.. still stuck.

just had it happen to me, as of this date if you get killed in the third room you are unable to complete the mission.

I can't say that I like this move. I am a single leader in charge of a small fleet. We exist because the leader of our last fleet went AFK for 6 months and someone else grabbed power, changed the fleet name, description and kicked all the active fleet leadership out without consulting anyone in the fleet.
