Hmm, those screenshots don't cut it for me... I think an HD Excelsior Remodel would look better in the place of the Defiant in those pictures.

Probably not profitable iconic enough to warrant an HD remake.

I voted Epsilon because it didn't look like a Command Ship Reject. Epsilon could use some bulkier nacelles though.

I voted Delta because there are too many angular/elongated spoony shovel ships already. I feel like we need something bold and commanding while keeping a classic look.

I went with Beta. Primarily because of the size of the saucer, and the "snug as a bug" hull/nacelle layout. Seems more carrier like than the Alpha. In honesty, I prefer the Delta Saucer, with the Beta Hull/Nacelles.

The only skill I see that complements the plasma console would be the Emergency Artillery Barrage. Other than that, the pilot skills would work better. I mean the ship looks great and I would love to buy it because I like the Prometheus, but the seating kills it for me.

A shame really. They botched a lot of the minor details when swapping out the parts. Several of the red pinstripes on the Excelsior Refit are misaligned when joined with the Resolute parts. Oh well, can't expect much from Cryptic anyways.

Yeah, I am pretty curious as to why Cryptic didn't update the model for the Excelsior. They did with the Akira ship, so why not the Excelsior?

I meant the actual saucer model of the Excelsior itself is the same as the Retrofit one, but without the extra impulse engines. Other than it looking bland, I really can't see much of a point of buying the Resolute. Why not just save/grind up 500 more zen to get a Command ship? I feel that a ship like this could have benefited from Pilot Cruiser, not because of the famous "Fly her apart" quote, but the fact that the console it comes with seems…

I can't see anything that strikes me as appealing. It looks like another Command Ship Variant. At least we can change it to the Original/Retrofit configuration. I wonder if Cryptic will touch up the old Excelsior models to include the fins that were near the rear of the saucer.
