Coinciding with the launch of the Hestia Advanced Escort we have overhauled the model for the original Prometheus-class Advanced Escort.

    Well now, there's a thing I can stand behind! Good work on the Prometheus model, it will surely make all the people that wondered why it hasn't been updated after reading the Hestia announcement very happy to know it actually was.

    now it may just be me but looking at it i cant see much of an upgrade other than the new external look and the fact the may or may not have moved the Deflector but if there is a change pls let me know as i liked the Promethus from the show and 1 last thing may we ever see any other EMH's

    Wow...all I can say is that I thought the Intrepid and Galaxy redesign was good. This is BETTER. She's definitely gonna be flown on my toons now for SURE!

    I'm with the other person, can we have this ship Thursday or at LEAST the remodel?

    Still not interested.

    Though, one suggestion I'd like to offer when posting pics of new ships. Maybe gives us a peek at what they look like with the various set piece shields?

    That's a very nice habit of updating the model on release of the T6 version. This makes the Hestia a perfect purchase for those only caring about looks (and not yet having the MVAE or Advanced escort).
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    This is nice, I love using my old T5 you get from your last "freebie" ship. I used some components from the other ships, and made a nasty looking ship.

    I always loved the ship, but i still would not buy the C-Store version, BOFF setup ruins that, might get the fleet T6 just because i can

    Edit: i am guessing that the improvements are standard on all Prometheus ships, including the Mirror one

    That's impossible! Others have said that the model was not and could not be updated! It wasn't announced then, so it was never going to happen, and the Devs needed to be ashamed of themselves for not updating the model! It wasn't going to happen they said, so this cannot be happening!

    It's still not working! I want that ship! My main has been using the Prometheus as his 'signature' ship since he first hit Level 40! Take my money! Please!

    The models for the Excelsior and Retrofit are full of inconsistencies and errors. Not to mention that the Resolute has some detail errors (which I already created a thread for in the Graphical/Sound Issues section).

    Take for example the saucer section. The Excelsior's Saucer model is the same one for the Retrofit except for the extra impulse engines. Especially considering the vast amount of resources that are available online which point out the distinct differences between the two.

    I am really curious as to why Cryptic skipped the Excelsior for remodeling.

    Looks really polished and gorgeus. Let's hope the weapon hardpoins are also on proper places, no such things as weapons firing from saucer meauvering trusters.
