I have played Sci almost exclusively since launch (leveled 2 to 50), except for 1 level 50 tac. For the past week I played a Romulan engineer to 50 and can honestly say that engineering is great. Much better than Sci. Miracle worker? Holy moly! With the MW trait, you can even use it 2 times after each other under heavy…
I just noticed this when looking at the PvE queue :D http://i.imgur.com/979eBjO.jpg This, in combination with the human stripper, makes me think the game went 18+ :D
But that's the problem, what did they fix the past week? There has been a "server stability" maintenance every day now, and there are still problems. From the consumer point of view, nothing changes. We really need an explanation what the TRIBBLE is happening back there and what they are doing to solve it. Or are they…
Cryptic should really give a explanation what the TRIBBLE is happening and what they are doing to solve the problem. These daily 100MB patches are fun, but for us players it seems to solve nothing.
Again a large patch (132MB). I'm glad my internet has a FUP (Fair use policy) and no bandwidth cap, but this is crazy. Edit: TRIBBLE, avast! detects crypticError.exe as malware. Crappy false positive.
1) Stop QQ 2) Stop freeloading, development and maintenance of the game is not free 3) The game will still be here tomorrow, wait for the Queue problem to be solved. This problem was predicted weeks ago. 4) Stop QQ 5) Stop QQ.
Pro-tip to avoid slow loading times when switching maps; Pre-load everything ;) Open the launcher and select "Disable on-demand patching" in the options menu. It will download a lot initially, but then you are done.
I think that the percentage of end-game romulans is going to be very small, most people will only do the new missions. Why? Because most people spend to much time on their mains (reputation, gear, etc. It will take months to reach the same with a new Romulan character)
Ye, the servers are slow. I changed my password yesterday, had to wait 15 minutes for the mail to arrive (and oh boy, I got like 5 of them because I pressed "resend").
