I have the same problem. Can not start the game, the autoupdater begins download and looses connection again and again. My problem also started 2 day ago. Tried to reinstall Steam and Arc problem remains. Port is open to patch server.

I do not think that there is a reason. Possibly because we got TRIBBLE shaped ships for the past years, no we will get "future" shaped ships (Appalachia).

I wholeheartedly agree with the original post. Discovery does not really fit into the STO "world" anyway. So a big +1.

Honestly, I do not want to level another faction toon. I have, for example, a "Terran" Starfleet captain. Fully equiped and happy with it. With a Terran faction I have to level it again re-farm all the eqipment....not really fun. For Terrans and other, none racial factions, just make it possible to join. For Terrans for…

Ah, I understand now. Yes, I thought this should be all or nothing skin swaps. It would still multiple the Orion ships, without much work. I agree some new ships would be nice. Altough, I agree that the carriers fit the pirate themes quite nicely.

@phoenixc I think the Dacoit / Corsair / Blackguard are very much like the Avenger and it's iteration. Yes, the seating is more different, but functionally they are the same ships. More ships would be nice, but with the TRIBBLE series, I doubt they have the capacity for that. Using the different skins would be a nice…

It seems to work now, but the Omega rep still stays green sometimes. I seem to get the proper marks though.

I agree, ground weapons would be really nice. Generally, Cardies really need some fixes: uniform, female doffs, colours, pins, etc.

I prefer the STO timeline stuff, but nothing wrong with these itmes. Although the pistol is a bit big in site, as very often the case.

Honestly, they could have spared themselves a lot of headache if they would have declared STO a separate timeline with "refugees" from other timelines. They could pick and choose what they want and want happens and what not. The ship seems strange looking though.

Do not forget the good old Typhoon! It is really something they could bring back and many would buy.

It has nothing to do with hating Klingon designs. I actually like them. Nor with the Breen designs, which are ugly, but they are Breen and consistent. This is a kitbash, without any saving grace from aesthetic point of view. I would have preferd a pure Klingon ship any day.

I join the ugly opinion group. I am quite tolerant to the different designs, but this ship is a strong contender for the ugliest title, sorry.
