Am also having this issue. Sent a bug report though the game, but wanted to make sure it was noted. I really wish someone would come in, at least to say "we're aware and working on it" The silence here is rather deafening, however

I can verify that this is also an issue with my Resreth. Please get this fixed, as it's otherwise a very good ship and have found no other issues with it.

Also able to confirm this bug, considering all of the effort to make this, it really should work as advertised. The technology points and 0 dil cost are working fine on the other hand

Borticus, the workaround does work, tested it on 3 toons, and it's completing at the academy, when the mission is asking for sol system in space.

Have attempted getting completion at the ESD space location 65 times, at varying nodes, in every instance I could get into. It will NOT grant completion, no matter the node, nor the instance that I try in. Quite simply, everything about this mini-game is bugged, even when no one else interacted with the omega molecule, I was able to score, but the timer went to -12:40 before I got disgusted and closed the little window
