  • I wonder if it's less of a bug than a revised approach to doff assignments. I've noticed in the past where "Current Map" appeared to list assignments that were available under other listings; perhaps that's now been "cleaned up" so that a given assignment only shows up under a particular listing.
  • Interesting... I rebooted under Windows 7, waited for all the patching, and it did launch/load; seems like something's definitely out of place somewhere. As for the other post re: OS X client using a different patching server, that might make sense if the game clients don't otherwise self-identify by platform so that the…
  • Possibly something related to the emulator, which would actually make it an OS X only issue. I did manage to get the Win client to update and launch on Windows 7 via Parallels 9... although hindsight being 20/20, I should've gone the BootCamp route - wouldn't have taken nearly as long for the game client to load.
  • Same here, also with OS X client; specifically running OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite.
  • To answer your question directly: any skill; it wasn't possible to select one of the "Default Ground Abilities" by rank in order to click on "Learn" for a purchased manual as the area was completely blank as if he didn't even have any, although checking the Skills section of his Status tab showed the standard initial set…
  • Aye, same here; typically when the loading screen shows 40.41% and the text switches to "Loading Sol System". In my case, it's happening with the OS X client, so... clearly neither hardware nor OS related. Followed all the recommended steps from "customer support" (disabled on-demand patching, enable force-verify, enable…
  • My guess is they'll want to give players at least a week to respond before they make any decisions/selections; only been ~4 days so far.
  • Sounds like a plan - I'm in. o7
  • Thanks. For reference, it appears to be the same for me as well. During the 2nd week timeframe, I'd done it late in the week (probably last Tue or Wed night). Since the patch/update last Thu, I was expecting to see it right away, but haven't seen the featured ep weekly reward box listed... until tonight.
  • Seems this was quite awhile ago (i.e. last summer when wetsuits were added), but don't recall seeing this was ever fixed - could easily have missed it. I picked up the "Wetsuit (full)" for my Reman KDF male last year, and to-date, it still doesn't show up. For reference, I'm currently looking at the last available costume…
  • Seems to me there are also fewer players that offer help to those inexperienced at a new queue; not surprised if fewer "good players" are bothering with public queues anymore. First time through one of the new Iconian queues (think it was Gre'thor), I just did what seemed to make sense. Second time through, someone…
  • Part of the issue is the map itself; extreme graphic lag, even if you dial the graphics settings down to absolute minimum. And I thought the Delta patrol missions were bad. Anyway, here's something I found that got me through it, although it still took awhile. Instead of trying to use the mouse and click on the…
  • Same here: "Connecting to the account server..." (hangs there for a bit, then) "Connection to the account server timed out." From the Twitter feed, they're aware of it.
  • Interesting approach; tried that, along with a system reboot to see if it was local and... now it looks like the launcher can't even connect to the patch server. Definitely appears to be something broken "between here and there"; all I know is it isn't "here", as it appears I can do just about anything else (including…
  • Aye. Seems to be a general misconception as to what P2W (Pay to Win) really is. First question would be: how do you define "win"? Complete all the episodes? Reach max level? Earn all possible specialization points? Own everything there is to own? Place first in PvE or PvP? Second question would be: can you get there…
  • Aye, have been getting "Server Not Responding" on/off for the last half hour; just ran it up to ~200s+ before disconnect, got back in... started the "not responding" clock again... this time ~300s+ and still counting. Not a localized (client side) issue; forum, e-mail, other network services, etc. not having issues.
  • Aye, and extremely so in some of the recently revised missions (e.g. Researcher Rescue) and almost every Delta Quadrant "patrol mission". It's as if the graphics settings are being dialed up to max "behind the scenes", regardless of the player's own settings, and/or they've added a huge number of objects (asteroids,…
  • Absolutely; definitely supporting this.
  • Aye, confirmed; just had the same thing happen. [System] Successfully submitted ticket ID #3,158,051. Captain Smirk, as the thread starter, would you care to attempt this, confirm it, and "escalate" it back to the devs for a fix? :)
  • Aye, definitely create an in-game ticket; might also be useful to log the ticket number here for reference as well. I'm having the same issue, and noticed it start about the same time as well - with the anniversary event. In my case, I noticed it more as I always do about the same "loop" of tasks across every character in…
  • To quote Buzz Lightyear quoting Kirk: "There seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere..."
  • Well, there's the issue; "short order" cook mistook the shard for an egg and scrambled it...
  • More like trying to power the whole thing off a comm badge; just a slight load issue...
  • Aye, unable to connect to login server (repeat attempts).
  • Aye, found that bug as well; only noted two instances, and neither had any Omega particles.
  • Despite yesterday's patch, the Omega daily is still bugged. If one of the locations is ESD space, you're dead in the water. Completing the mini-game does not advance the step for ESD space. Dropping and retaking the mission only returns the same 3 locations - even after dropping, quitting, restarting, and retaking.…
  • More like they got Sony pretty good; they just couldn't be bothered to properly secure their networks and servers.
  • lol, like North Korea has anything vaguely resembling a clue.
