Will you root for me to finally get a playable KDF faction Ferengi as well? I've been waiting since before Discovery was even conceived. And it literally won't take anything from anyone.
In my first comment, I focused on PvP, because that's where I usually see a lot of high DPS players. When it comes to battlezones and TFOs, I've had instances where I needed to accomplish a specific task (usually to satisfy and endeavor) and had trouble doing so because the high DPS players would obliterate every target in…
My response to "whaling" has always been to avoid PvP like the bubonic plague. The only time I enter PvP is when an endevour demands it, and then I happily get my TRIBBLE kicked, collect my points, and get back to PvE as quickly as possible. I take the same approach to guild drama. I simply don't join any fleets. Problem…
They have this thing where they know when I am going to have a weekday morning free, and schedule maintenance to coincide. Every single time. Because everything annoying that happens in the Universe is a carefully planned affront to me, and only me. -signed, The Internet.
One thing that nearly everyone seems to want is costume options, particularly to customize existing uniforms. Literally the only thing I would consider joining a fleet for is the Odyssey dress uniform variant. I would pay plenty dil for that, if it were not a fleet only item is beyond me. Before anyone asks, I barely have…
I had a similar issue with a Klingon on DS9. I had to go to a KDF General in charge of one of the reputations... it might have been Omega task force, my memory is bad, and talk to him about his group. After that, everything updated. Anyway, the General is in one of the stores heading counterclockwise beyond the shipyard,…
Follow-up: Still no progress. Customer service tells me there is nothing that can be done and that I had "plenty of time" to claim. Twelve hours doesn't seem like all that much time. I know of at least one other player who had a similar incident with a previous event. In their case the claim/buyout tab returned after a…
"Made all the Second Chance Buyouts associated with the last Event Campaign available to buy until 1/2/21". If you completed the event, but didn't claim your prize before the campaign disappeared there is still no way to claim. Not fixed.
My thoughts on Madren: I suggest he is "protected" by a certain Starfleet Admiral. Remember at the end of The Ninth Rule when you ask Kebret about what happens to Madren, he just pats you on the head and says, "Run along now, I'll see to Madren"? There's something fishy about that whole scenario.
The update also seems to have deleted the "To Hell With Honor" event. For those who want to buy out, or finished the event but didn't claim the prize, there is no place to do so.
I was hoping they would have fixed the scale issue with the "claim marks" window, but I guess not. Bit of a pain having to re-scale my display every time I need to select marks.
If they won't run the Romulans as a separate faction, no way will you see a Cardassian or Dominion faction. What ever they do, you will still be faced with a Fed or Klingon choice at some point.
In addition to changes to the Klingon stories and visuals, one semi-related thing they could do easily is allow a playable Klingon faction Ferengi. Even with Rom's "kinder, gentler Ferengar" it seems to me that a lot of Ferengi would be more comfortable with the Klingon way of doing things, especially DOFF missions. The…
Can't wait to see the exchange area on DSN flooded with dozens of these, all flapping and whirring like the KIDD drones you can't turn off in social areas.
Since it appears to be an account-wide unlock on ships, if you buy a pack with three variants, each of your characters on that account gets the faction-appropriate version. Fed gets the Fed version, Klingon gets the Klingon version, etc.
I'm sure this has been mentioned a million times, but why announce an event "starts" at 8:00 am pacific when the servers are scheduled to be down until 9:30 am pacific? Not really a terrible issue, but it just seems so... imprecise.
I drew that mission yesterday and managed to finally beat it. It took a long time, but I eventually got my reinforcements all in one place, and hit her with everything we had. Phaser platforms, shuttles, anything I could find with a punch. At this point she started moving very slowly and we just picked her apart. There was…
Personally, I only have one character I would wear the TWOK vests on, my TOS based character, so that limit isn't much concern to me. As for GPL, I find plenty to spend GPL on at the Ferengi Trader on DS9. Primarily rare commodities useful in DOFF missions that pay out decent DIL.
The fleet dilithium is a total waste for me as I don't play enough to devote time to a fleet. I should probably join one just to donate all the fleet assets I'm "rewarded" with but have no use for, I guess. I've wanted the TWOK vests forever, but I've never had the 2.5 million DIL to get them. On the other hand I have Lobi…
