Map wide exit points are something I do now. A few times I have got stuck in missions because no matter how close I got to a space object I couldn't interact with it.
I just wish the foundry could differentiate between the gender and maybe even the species of the player. But what the op is asking for is beyond what even cryptic has done for its own missions.
I'm a big fan of the foundry but even I have to admit I've got stuck on a few missions. Especially when they have you interact with objects on a space map. It's better to have the player interact with a large invisible object than actually interact with a ship or other asset. The hit detection is just too flawed.
Yeah I'm kinda hooked on using those campsites that way. I think drogyns project will work out well transparent aluminum isn't that reflective I told ;)
Well I'm going to have the player approach the event horizon of the white hole but it's not really possible to enter one. I might use the atmospher effect or spawn the player inside a planet to create that effect. I'm using one of the supernova backdrops to represent the white hole.
Cool stuff. My current foundry project is a mission based in a white hole system. White holes are totally theoretical but Star Trek is science fiction so why not?
I have a candidate for Chief of Operation/ Engineering : Name: J'ret Rank: Chief of Station Operation Faction: Rom Republic Race: Android J'ret is a former Tal Shiar interrogation android which defected when her moral subroutines were activated after an electrical accident. She is a very efficient and trustworthy officer…
The return of costume import? I can dream can't I? The foundry still crashes 99% of the time on exit for me so costume import really didn't make it that much less stable.
I too am getting tired of the space combat in this game it is too time consuming and challenging. An episode should not take this long to play. Once again the game takes too long to beat and I had to quit so I can go to work the next day. What's the deal cryptic? Is the game becoming pay to win? Or do you just want…
My two cents is that it would be nice to see the station headed By a more ethnically diverse crew. Especially the captain. So far Trek has had mostly Americans and one French guy as captain. Why not give the big chair to an ethnic minority for a change.
Since the new system of listing foundry missions in sector space, not being spotlighted isn't as big deal as it used to be. Before if you weren't spotlighted you were too low in the listings to ever see the light of day. But now I find my missions getting plenty of playthroughs with little to no effort on my part.
This episode was chock full of goodness as usual. Your topic about mission played from different kdf races perspectives reminded me of an idea I had of doing a series of missions that branched between federation, Romulan and kdf. As it stands if I do sequel to a time to search it will likely be Romulan. I also am playing…
