Happening to me as well. Also, logging in with safe mode did restore text, but exiting and logging back in in normal mode caused the problem to reappear.

Some (alpha) are yours, others belong to your bridge officers. Press 'p' to bring up your powers list and drag them to you toolbar. Press the appropriate number to activate. Boffs need to be assigned to a bridge station for their powers to work, assuming the skill is appropriate to the bridge station.

I can't even BUY zen- 'the must have charachter at level 10' bug has bitten me (two or three maxed out...). I want the new Fed escort- I just want to do is spend some money with the company! All someone at Cryptic or PWE needs to do is TAKE MY MONEY. "Sorry- no, we can't take your money! We don't want it!" Ouch.
