I named a few of my ships after people that had meant something to me that had passed on as a way of remembrance. Like others, my KDF ships I just go with the default.

Me as well. I even had my fleet members watch me as I played through Discord. Abandoned and did it again, but got the same thing. Thought maybe it was an update issue and just tried it again, with the same result. Hopefully someone can come up with a resolution for this.
