I have Verizon Fios and i don't have any connection issues but i do get a lot of lag while playing the game. Is setting up a VPN the only way to make the game run smoother?

I keep banging my head against the wall trying to smooth out my framerate but it still lags even on Low settings. My Rig: Athlon II X4 620 2.6ghz Geforce GT 545 12gb RAM I'm able to run most current game on medium settings with no FPS drops so it's really frustrating that STO runs so poorly.

I too came back to try out the romulan expansion but i also had a decent leveled starfleet char(I think at least Lt Cmdr) and i'd like to get that back. I'd imagine customer service would want to make this issue a priority, no? Maybe if i posted the number for my ticket would that make it easier for them to find it?

I have a pretty decent PC that can run the game with most setting son medium, yet whenever i spin the camera around quickly the frame rate spikes. I tried turning everything off like it says in this guide but i'm still trying to figure out why it slows down when i turn the camera. Can anyone explain this to me a little?

I'm still waiting on my password reset email too. I can't remember when i last played STO but i guess it was before the PWE merge because my email address wasn't registered with the site. Right now i'm waiting on CS to reply to my email but i'm not sure if they'll be able to help.
