This would be sweet to get! I really like the story line of that episode too, especially since it was an abandoned Phase II script. Having something in-game tied to it would be nice.

Nice! Thank you for this. It stinks that you have to upgrade something to VR to UR just to see what your gear will look like epic. This saves that waste of dil and resources.

I have to agree to with you. The proof for me is that CritDx3 mines drop quite a bit but their damage is so bad I don't even give them a second look.

Took three days for them to 'help' me on this issue. Still no help - can't login. There was a thread in general discussion where someone said Season 10 is the worst season yet, and I posted something saying its not. I'm thinking it is.....

I'm thinking I'm moving on too. At least for a little while then will be back around season 11 to see if anything has improved. But sadly I just can't play anymore.

Is anyone still having this problem or have a solution? I seem to have gotten into something where I can't login with some characters. If anyone has a solution please post it. I submitted a ticket asking for my character to be moved and I'm hoping that's all it'll take.

You piqued my interest. Is there a particular book or article to look at? I'm a huge fan of Shatner and always believed the producers wanted to drive the story arc in a new direction following the so-called Star Trek trilogy. For me it's the tone of the movie. But now I'm curious to find out the behind the scenes stuff.

Totally down for the 37s! I guess cause I like Voyager a lot. I know they left Amelia Earhart on the planet, but man, it's Amelia Earhart! It'd be so cool if she became a pilot or something. Or perhaps some important facet of Trek lore in STO.

Agreed! PvPers hurt this game far more than any dev. Plus they have some sort of vendetta against dps in PvE.

As someone said it needs to be reworked. The queen herself can fully heal when she's practically dead, although that doesn't happen all the time.

Balance of Terror is an anti-war episode and a reminder of the fear of WWII submarine warfare. The violence in it is meant to reflect this, not to glorify it. Contrast this with the fact that the only way DS9 was going to end was with a battle after which everyone feels happy they won and participated in.

I don't know, I'm kinda torn. In speech and debate we were coached to treat TRIBBLE and Fascism like the plague because it can lead to slippery slopes and is generally a horrible way to make your argument. I think sometimes I do with materials. I hardly even craft so it's really bad plus I haven't spent the time selling stuff on the exchange so they just keep building up. Unless stuff is critdx3 and it's purple, I would sell that stuff.

Nothing in STO is off limits. Players with memberships get the same exact thing as F2P players. The issue that the episode brings up is that games that are freemium in many cases are pay to win, which STO is not. That episode of Spith Park isn't reminiscent of anything in STO.

That sounds terrible. When Delta Rising first came out and STFs were nearly impossible to win I was in a Fleet Alert that lasted 30 minutes. Surprisingly no one left but it would have been better just to warp out and take the leaver penalty. The worst part, we had Klingons.
