Ran it yesterday with my romulan tac and was also unable to do the optional, in this case using the turrets.

I went fed myself, mostly because my main is fed and most of the items I've bought via C-store are fed based. Another factor is our fleet on the fed side is more developed as far as starbase and such goes. I do plan to roll a KDF-Romulan here soon, and properly a new KDF toon as well to see the new changes. Yep looks like something is borked, started out at 6800 of 7000 ish, pretty quickly moved down to 3606 out of 6500. And now stuck at 3606 and the que is steady growing lol up to 10574 now :P

Could be wrong on this but saw another tester type in zone earlier, that on your 2nd or more character you make you can skip the cinmeatics by pressing spacebar. Only made one romulan myself so can't confirm it.

It switches back and forth, atleast for me. Sometimes the 25k out of 25k, and back to where I believe I'm at 62 of 671. Did the same thing for me yesterday as well, was about a 10-15min wait so not to bad. Just checked, i'm in now :D So 12 min wait.
