If its a 24 hour item, it should be available for 24 hours, not 23 hours and 45 minutes. For the FSB to become active (light up) you first have to be in Annihilation Mode. You'll know if you're in the right mode because the 4 singularity exhaust ports at the back of the Ar'Kif will open up and spark. Nah. I do the same group of portals over and over - never moving too far away from the transporter pad, if I can help it. Post #2 has the answer. Its random chance. Not every code is going to deactivate every portal, every time. It keeps it interesting.

The tailor often crashes for me as well. One thing I know that is reproducible (does it to me every time, anyway) is changing the listing between list and large preview, or back again. This is just one of many tailor bugs, not all of which cause a crash, but the crash ones, are obviously of more concern.

This still happens, not only in STO but in Neverwinter as well. I wasted several hours trying to figure this out and finally found this thread (post #11 FTW). I *almost* lost my Neverwinter celestial coins because of this. I managed to log in with just 14 minutes remaining. Phew. 100th Post :)
