Thanks. That helps clarify things. Also, the numbers I posted each time were out of combat so no stars on the pets. Does anyone have some DPS data on pets?
Correction on my numbers. It appears there is some sort of hit point and level scaling in the Alpha Quadrant. Is this a documented feature of the game?...nevermind... I completely missed that in the documentation. In my previous posts I was checking the HP numbers in the Sol. Dyson Sphere. Now I'm sitting in the Jenolan…
I am 60 with all specializations and look at my post directly above on exactly how much HP my pets have. It's very low. My Jem'Hadar Dreadnought has 60,867 HP, which seems like it is the same as it was when my character was 50, but still that's more than the pets.
Yea, I don't get their idea to nerf hitpoints on hangar pets. Right now on my maxed out Romulan (level 60 + 60/60 specializations) my hangar pets don't seem to have that much HP. It's also odd in that the tooltip says I'm launching level 51 pets though I'm level 60. Here are my pets' hit points by type. Advanced Jem'Hadar…
The mastery time for T5-U seems pretty fast to me. I guess the Tier 4-to-5 mastery must be a big XP sink. Oh well, it's not like I care about that as my main is a Romulan and is better off in a Jemhadar Dreadnought than one of the T6 warbirds. The Romulan Tier 5 mastery skills don't read like they are worth the time to fly…
Yea, I ran into the getting stuck in Starfleet Academy bug and had to start a replay of a low level mission in which the transwarp cost was 500 credits. But wait! It's not nearly as important for people to play the game as it is for them to not play the game. Cryptic determined that resource allocation for fixing…
The announcement of hangar nerfs made me wonder what they are thinking. I've got Advanced Jem'hadar Attack Ships (my starbase isn't at lvl 5) and it's not like they put out all that much DPS compared to my JH Dreadnought. I don't have a DPS parser, but it's not like I notice my NPC killing speed drop when one of the attack…
The development contractors Cryptic had hired promoted their crappy tangled bad code and ran off. Cryptic is now trying to reach them on Skype to find out how to untangle the mess @ $250 per development hour.
Agreed. I particularly liked the casual nature of STO before DR but I know a few complained about the casual gameplay. I'm holding out hope that Cryptic "accidently" put things in like a hard "Fleet Alert" rated at one chevron difficulty or an utterly broken Kobali mission to defend a gate/bridge. If these are accidental,…
I have the old stand-alone STO installation running. If the pack requires Arc, that may stop me from purchasing it. I've thrown so much money at this game that I'm embarrassed to mention how much, so honestly, requiring Arc helps me. I tried Arc and I did not like it. I can't remember why I disliked it because I had it…
I purchased the Nebula after returning to the game a month ago and it unlocked for all my characters. I can go to the Zen Store and claim it on any Federation character I have. All my Z-Store ships are account wide. I've bought all but the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit, Runabout: Yellowstone Class, and the Vulcan D'Kyr on…
I am colorblind (red/green). In order to keep up with bridge officer types I name all of each type starting with a certain character. (i.e. Engineers = Elizabeth, Eric, Edward; Science = Stewart, Sally, Samantha; Tactical = Tabitha, Tilly, Ted.) It's bland, but it helps when picking officers for universal console slots and…
I'm not sure of how many lock boxes I've opened, but I got a Tuffli Freighter in one of the first ten I opened (Ferengi boxes). I got a mirror universe Star Cruiser and Assault Cruiser since then.
