It now actually appears completely broken to me. Comes up with multiple rewards on the minigame instead of just one, but taking items doesn't increase the amount I possess.

Sweet! Ta for the tip. Key with minigame I reckon is arrow keys. I treat it like a magic eye picture and have got up to 2000. If you want to Max out R and D possibilities I reckon it's a blessing timewise you can get something with 0 points!

Minigame gives one of three coloured traces. Run them through science R&D to end up with omega r&d reward - but you'll need dozens to get to that point!

Main issue has been finding places for red particles. Blue and yellow easy but only found red at ESD. Any ideas?

Got shards and fragments from scores upwards of 1200. Reckon I''ve got about 10 all in from around 180 attempts. (I've been off today! ;-)

Nope - unfortunately all the planets are off limits as I'm at level 4. The problem appears to be that I should be expecting a mission but cannot access it because the second mission is only available to those at level 5. Yup - exactly the same problem for me. Stuck on level 4 as Romulan and no way of getting out of it. Can't see New Romulus. No options whatsoever. Balls.
