Maybe the title is misleading, but I have a problem with the new skill patch. I started a reman toon and played the toon until the first mission (explore the flotilla). However, he lacks xp to get to level 5 and start the new episode for level 5. And I don't see a way how he gets xp. Everything is locked, as he hasn't picked a side, he can't enter Omega Leonis or Sirius to fight low level enemys, he can't join a quee, he can't fight high level enemy signals, he can't start doff missions and foundry is also locked, mission replay is also not possible. Any way to get some xp to get to 5 ?

wow that would be a problem if it still exists you may want to post this in the bug forum.

I tried some sector warping, some fights against level 19 enemys in Tau Dewa. But I'm not allowed to do anything. I don't know how you can **** up leveling, but they did it.

    It's just epic.

can you replay any of the episodes to that point maybe to make up the difference? Also Id suggest a bug ticket

I don't think there is an episode to replay. level 5 would have been the tutorial planet and that is it.

This definitely needs to go to the bug forum. Nobody should have to replay an episode in order to unlock future missions.

That's why I never finished the Delta Rising Episodes... starting at 50 and working through them, I found I had to not play Delta Rising to play Delta Rising. That was before they altered the Skill Points, too. :P

I have to ask this question again. I filed in a bug report and no answer so far, I doubt any answer will come, probably whoever opens the bug reports, just thinks, I don't find the right button to start the next episode, because, you know, it can't happen in their system.

I want to solve this on my own. Are there any known items, that give xp ? I only need 20 of them. What level do I need for winter wonderland (once it is released) ? Is there a chance to get the xp ? I remember last year's wonderland, but I don't know if there were any xp to gain in the race. And there is one Foundry mission I can sea, it's called Na'Thalia's Dance-Party, but I can't Hail.

What do I have: access to mail and shared bank. a ship to travel around tau dewa. Funny thing is, there isn't even a New Romulus on my map. And I can't enter Dewa III ( I know, story).

I also doupt there is a fleet way around, the toon is still unaligned.

hmm, so you are just at the point you met D'tan and after talking to him, you beam to your ship? If so, that is the end of the mission and one should see the option to hail T'mer and get the rewards for the mission, thus leveling you to 5. After this the first real mission is the one to the Suliban Helix.
Let us know what you see in the mission window on the right hand side of your UI.

EDIT. I ran it both ways, skipping tutorial and playing it and I got to 5 each time

I created the char before the xp tables were updated, finished the mission afterwards. Probably deleting the char ist the easiest solution.

Thanks for the try. I would like to know how that would work at all, because the char cannot enter any area yet. However, it is no longer possible. I deleted the char yesterday.

And yes, Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and it has no bugs at all. :(

Too late now, but the first thing I noticed was the unspent Skill Points. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Yup - exactly the same problem for me. Stuck on level 4 as Romulan and no way of getting out of it. Can't see New Romulus. No options whatsoever.

    Balls.

go to the planet nimbus. Kill a few scorpions. IIRC the game will SET your level to match the content (???) so you should be able to make a few kills here (??). Please let us know if that is sufficient.

If not, you may need to get some "help" from other people there.

It is just "north" of new rom/flotilla.

Nope - unfortunately all the planets are off limits as I'm at level 4. The problem appears to be that I should be expecting a mission but cannot access it because the second mission is only available to those at level 5.

I also can't replay the first mission to try to skill up.

It looks like I will need to cancel the character completely.

    Just received this reply...

"We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with this Tutorial Mission.

Unfortunately, with being such a new Character, if you get stuck within these first few missions, you may need to re-create your Character. We also advise following the tutorial in the order it was presented and refrain from deviating from any of it until you have finished all the tutorial missions. In addition to that, please let the cinematics (if any) run to the end to ensure that the mission updates correctly.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience this has caused."

So basically shoot everything that moves or you may not escape level 4!! Funny, though, cos I'm pretty sure I did shoot everything that moved!!
