@ambassadorkael#6946 Just to confirm, are you being told to tell us that the solution to this problem is going to cost us 300 Zen (~$3 USD, especially for silver players, and 60% of a Gold players monthly stipend) per affected toon per affected account? And we'll probably need to do it again if there's another trait having…
Adding Particle Manipulator to the list. Just hit Lv 15 on the Science R&D school, and the trait is nowhere to be found. I'm definitely getting the feeling something's preventing the traits list from refreshing when a new one is added. (Also, it would be nice to see this issue on the known issues list in the patch notes,…
I'm guessing it's something with the trait list itself refreshing. I had a second Photonic Field Protocol and, when I saw that the first one was missing, I tried to activate the second one. The system (correctly) said that it was a duplicate, and couldn't be activated. Perhaps there's a hard limit that some of us are…
@pwlaughingtrendy @ambassadorkael#6946 I've filed a bug request and also worked with support under ticket 161206-002747 I'm missing one Starship trait, and at least two (possibly a third) Space Trait Starship Trait: Supremacy Space Traits: Self-Modulating Fire Photonic Field Protocol
Still going through this episode, but one thing I've noticed: Is there anything that has established the player captain to have had a prior relationship with Montgomery Scott? If not, he'd probably refer to him formally as Mr. Scott, and not Scotty in the dialog. During the evacuation cutscene, Mr. Scott moves towards the…
You could argue that the precedent was set with "The Cage". While none were seen to be in command of starships, the fact that you had a female executive officer meant that there were women with command functions in TOS. It would be a wasted effort on the part of Starfleet to have someone in the XO position and not use that…
While debatable if it's considered canon, a TOS Caitian can probably be extrapolated from episodes of The Animated Series. There are also Caitians in the background of some of the movies (one is commanding the station that loses power in The Voyage Home, another is in the gallery during the court martial)
I concur. According to memory alpha, TMP was in the early 2270s, while WoK was in 2285. it also suggests that season 3 of TOS was 2269. If Voyager made a hard date of 2270, that would also give TMP a smaller window (18 month refit = 2271-2272)
Yeah. I appreciate that the feasibility of having a unique emblem for each player character is impossible, especially if you consider the high user frustration and lag issues if the game has to check every single emblem created to validate that it's unique. But I was hoping for something that was at least template based,…
In the Dev Webcast a couple of weeks ago, Borticus also said that the free respecs on Tribble would continue to be around for an unspecified number of weeks (at least a month) for just this reason. If you copy your character over to Tribble, you can respect on the new system to your hearts content until you come up with…
It'd be interesting to speculate on the episode, since six of the eight known Enterprises have experienced temporal incidents (A and F being the exceptions) and, therefore, every Enterprise crew, except for Va'Kel Shon's has been involved with a temporal incident (unless you want to expand the definition to include the…
Wide shot of the Fleet Spire from the balcony (after stranding myself outside by closing the doors) Just realized I violated the multiple-entries rule. I choose this one as my submission
While the ship is the Omega Battle Group's USS Victory, the image is reminiscent of the scene in the book "Star Trek: The Return" with the Monitor, and the Challenger. (Page 250 in the book, if you want to see the reference)
