We all know someone would have made this comment. Someone always does. This time it was me. This is the reason it's called 'obligatory' ... The puppies are never safe.
This. There also was a gigantic power disparity between toons that have grinded through all reputations and those who did not (or were still on their way through). Cryptic somewhat adressed this problem. Now you only need a couple days to create a character with decent traits and not at least 1 1/2 month+ of grinding a…
A bit cheesy at times (especially the Undine Commander's 'KHAAAAAAN' moment ...) but overall a great FE. I'm looking forward to more missions of this quality :)
This is also my stance on this subject. I simply don't care which sexual orientation other players have because I would never judge them on it anyway. This is not a trait which defines what kind of person they are. That being said, I also find it strange that some player conversations even touch sexuality (be it…
Wait ... does this mean a Quantum HY would only apply one DoT because the last torpedo fired overwrites the DoTs applied by the other torpedoes? If this is true, single shot HY blobs/tricobalts would gain better results with this trait.
132.000 FC for a Fleet Kit with 5 powers compared to the 60.000 FC before. They more than doubled the price. I wonder how much they will increase the attached dilithium costs.
Pretty much this. The AA is the only target in the game that doesn't get facerolled by aux2bat/DEM/Marion fawboats. Then again all that people need to do is bring a kinetic beam or a torpedo launcher and stop mashing spacebar for ONE SECOND.
... this AND they should also simultaniously add the option to airlock him. The choice between enduring his terrible persona or loosing the only SRO in this game will crush people. The forum rage would be priceless :D
Haha, no! I find the constant scowling look on Klingon faces as terrible as the new happy faces on everyone else. I just want an option to have no visible emotions at all on my character.
Same here. I searched for a while all over the area, then took the KDF Reman and probably locked myself out of obtaining the Romulan Liberated Borg. Meh.
Funnily enough in Germany it is the direct opposite. Full nudity, including explicit sex scenes are completely ok. Violence: HELL NO. However the strict handling of the latter has been slowly toned down during the past decade. There used to be a time when game developers had to replace human enemies (and human looking…
After a long debate at Cryptic HQ the Devs came out with a statement yesterday in which they dismissed all claims of bugs in STO and declared that everything is working as intended. Furthermore the CEO of PWE also expressed his sincerest gratitute to STOs playerbase for their continued support in funding the People's…
Yes. Also, as a German, I find it very strange when people constantly smile for no apparent reason. True. If Cryptic would only spend a fraction of the time they use on changing textures to update Klingons. They need this more than any other species in the game. My KDF Rom is now smiling though and I don't like…
This is the only change that I really dislike: Forced smiles on every toon. The rest is however in my opinion a definite improvement over what we currently have on holodeck.
I usually buy as much lobi-store gear as I can from the exchange. The few lobis I could gather (from events) were invested in stuff which is bind on pickup and cannot be acquired by other means: universal consoles, the elachi handcannon (fantastic weapon) and the hirogen armor (nice outfit combined with a cool looking…
Yes, of course players have to decide this for themselves. This is just my opinion on this matter, and since there were already cases of death through powergrind in some MMOs it is not even far off. But you are certainly right on the timegating. We are probably getting some new cutscenes and short missions with the…
When the Dyson Reputation was released last year there were some people who powergrinded through it in less than two weeks. I think these changes are meant to prevent this unhealthy behaviour and also give the devs more leeway until the first people finish the rep and subsequently demand new content.
The trick here is that aux2damp is only dependant on your ship's aux power in the moment of its activation. To make the aux2damp/aux2bat build work you have to activate all your BOff powers you use in combat first, including aux2damp, and then use one aux2bat with three purple technicians on the very end of the cycle to…
You already fail to understand that my post above wasn't meant as an arrogant statement, but is essentially a reply to those people a few pages before this one who claimed that my post on page 2 regarding the aux2damp/aux2bat builds would not work properly ingame. The very same people who run after the JHAS like maniacs…
A Risian cruiser? Meh. I skipped the corvette from last year and I will skip this one, too. No way my character will be seen flying a love boat. Judging from the interior however this will be most likely a place where players can wear their swimsuits outside of Risa.
