Even if it's just participation, I'm averse to pvp. I think it's often a tradition for a mmorpg pvper(singling these out) to shove in how much better he is than you (even if his build would suck in pve compared to your own). Because they are always unable to read the room with no exception that I've ever seen throughout my…
There is kind of, but actually when you do the math on resistances, it's actually semi-linear with armor. The game just throws you off by showing the % damage removed to resistances, but NOT what that really does for you. Every point of armor increases your overall durability by 1% over whatever your hull is. The…
Pretty for its down to them being THE heaviest overall ships in the game, only d'deredix being either as slow or barely faster in turning. I think even the oddy has at least better inertia. I have the same problem with them, just to slow to turn that even a ton of RCS consoles won't fix it. Slowest turning ships for me…
I can back up Valoreah on this a little, heck i only recently exceeded 200k DPS in advanced conduit.....the same character was able to near effectively one shot the Iconian Dreadnaught at the end of Gates to Grethor
Thats why at most I thought on difficulties recommendations, not hard requirements be added, just something to let the player know so the player can decide if they are ready for a difficulty or not, help them make a good judgement call.
Hopefully, I don't miss anything as your post as many paragraphs easily border into TLDR(and I'm actually working BUT its slow enough for the most part atm, practically sitting around), even go past it, as an fyi, but i'll try to reply to this best I can. Firstly, elitists try to manipulate the game because they are very…
I never played WOW, but I had played guild wars, and I remember all to well the heroes ascent catch 22 "requirement" its community shoved down everyones throats for that; To participate in heroes ascent, players required you to have at least hero title rank 3. To get any progression towards that title requiresd…
I suppose since gear score problem came up I should clarify since I figure someone probably will, on my "difficulty recommendations" thats something that I'd say would be client side, other players wouldn't see that.
On battlezones, 100% they need an advanced, not sure if an elite difficulty would work(how many players really are suited for that to participate regularly and progress, even with extreme high end performers?) but definently advanced is needed. On the difficulty I agree though, the game still does a poor job of explaining…
I had used Nahkul shields(I had been using it for all ground builds before events released better ground gear) but I think I may have used pahvo crystals, but I'd ask some questions on how your dying instantly, like what exactly kills you and then pick ground abilities around that, position your BOFF in advance(make sure…
On the DPS I certainly realize that in retrospect my sustained isn't as high as I'd like(far from it), or at least in the parses I did at the time, I have no way of knowing 100% without having done Elite Infected conduit which I probably never will. Only reason I bring up augmented and shorter times bringing bursts out was…
I admit I see DPS chases as little more than speed runs at this point, in fact once you realize the highest DPS numbers are always when the run is super short, well the conclusion for me was every DPS chase is just a speed run. Because when I tried to DPS parse in infected advanced I saw my highest damage SPIKE was…
Dilithium is a currency, sorry. You have again, and many others even pointed out that exploits allow people to gain even more than ever before. But it's a currency designed to tie RL currency to energy credits. Resources can be currency and are often used as currency, even designed to double as currency. If it was, you…
I'm not proposing a tax where someone has to pay x amount at a specific time every month, just something that soft-caps dilithium earnings past a certain point. Your trying to liken this idea of implementation to an RL tax with filing taxes. I'm going by other games where auction houses ect have an "auction house fee". Say…
Edit: I misread the post, sorry, but kind of, my idea was if someones earning more than a certain amount of dil start charging them an increasing % of that dil retroactively; if they earned 8k more than a soft-cap, they lose 800 of that dil, and maybe add some brackets to increase that % on further earnings. So if someones…
The above also means another revelation; the longer those wait times get, the less dilithium needs to be earned, but it also means less playtime and less dilithium grinding is useful. Hence why i'm constantly saying in my original point in that dilithium is becoming useless as far as the market is concerned. Only higher…
In other words, all of that said, effective dilithium earnings for everyone already is capped based on what they are trying to get. Using T6 standard ships as a baseline thats 42857/day for a 3k zen ship in 35 days(assuming its that, if it's longer, correct me). Grinding any more then that is ultimately a waste of time.…
So your saying, on the "no nerfing will help" that they 'should' keep that 500 dil in 30 seconds? I'm gonna be honest, it does nothing to help new players who only have a few character slots, while fully helping those with 50, that really does not help new players. I don't see how a tax system would hurt newer players as…
I'm aware that events aren't something farmers rely on, since it's just yeah, 1 time thing so I know it's not that big of an impact, still is more though. Agree on the instant dil in 30 seconds needs to be nerfed, and similar sources. Still not sure it'd be enough, we still already have way to much dil in the market…
He is bringing up that to much dilithium is in the market, and I will be honest, this is uncomfortable to read coming from him but, he has a critical point. I 100% stopped bothering grinding for dilithium. There is zero point with the exchange broken as badly as it is. Dilithium has lost almost all of it's value if not all…
Decided to take a hit for the team, opened 1000 boxes so you wouldn't have to: I got the following results: 486 Rares (basically uncommon and some rare rewards in same menu) 364 Very Rares (Some rare rewards and old Very rare rewards) 150 Ultra Rares (some very rare rewards and..... ..... ..... um, so whats the difference…
So took a hit for the team, and purchased 1000 phoenix boxes just now to share this(for science), so far am NOT actually impressed. I got 150 URares but no epics. The URare rewards are 'effectively' what the very rare rewards were. As for the less valuable VRare and Rares. I got 486 Rares 364 VRares 150 URares 0 Epics…
So it's not a good skip, i'm kind of happy to know since things like this I am happy to jump on them sometimes, but knowing this I'll make sure to keep my pets on passive in the start.
The passive bonus for the console is still not fixed as of the 2/24/22 update. It still appears very, very briefly and then instantly disappears, speed is also unchanged with equipping the console. Only thing that changed was the ability, but the consoles Inertia bonus and speed still are not working.
Can confirm, the same can be said of it's speed bonus also instantly disappearing. When I combine it with the Polaric Modulator on the Lexington I should have 50 inertia but instead only have 40 inertia.
Now I decide to try using Arc (since I was going to make a 50 dollar purchase for the upcoming nova bundle, this'll be the last money I spend in a good while), today and it's now stuck in "Pending review". I'm seriously getting frustrated and this kind of anger and frustration I really don't need. Only reason I have time…
So I decided to experiment a little, and found a workaround is to simply browse local files, and run directly from the client itself, bypassing steam completely. I decided to make a shortcut and just cut steam out entirely for now.
