Bug in the TFO "Infected: The Conduit"

Good evening,

i've just been in a run on 'Infected: The Conduit' where we've had quite a few carriers on our team.

It seems that, if the borg fleet wanders too close to the spawn point, the carrier pets are able to attack the borg, even if the TFO is still in the pre-start countdown and has not started yet.
In our case the carrier pets were strong enough to be able to complete wipe out the borg fleet, leaving us unable to progress as the mission target was still at "Destroy the borg fleet" after the start, but without any more borg fleet around. The Transwarp-Conduits were still shielded and not attackable at this point.

Anyone encountered something similar?

    ill have to run this again soon. ive not had this with my pets.

    I don't know how, but somehow our carrier pets aggro'd the borg fleet early (and then managed to kill them). Couldn't get them to do that in the repeating run, so not sure what triggered it.

    This isn’t new. It has been possible for years. That is why DPS league advocates starting with the TFO leader in team runs (Wait for Pets (WFP) ). More people are noticing it now because of the event. I also think it may be more common with the newer forward launching carriers. There is already thread about this started last week—although it was admittedly not in the bug forum.

    So it's not a good skip, i'm kind of happy to know since things like this I am happy to jump on them sometimes, but knowing this I'll make sure to keep my pets on passive in the start.


    Thinking of ideas from lots of games for, dunno how long now.
