This thread is hilarious, the people whining about the level cap being raised and threatening to quit. I mean seriously, the level cap goes up all the time in mmos, and usually new content, or new game mechanics are added to lengthen the game's life. A compression pistol is a pretty good weapon, if you set your Boffs with expose weapons, It's exploit cycles extremely quickly and you can drop enemies in a fair amount of time. Of course it's not gonna sweep groups away like a good pulsewave but hey, it's there if you want to be different.

It's a flawed system to be sure. It's especially bad for newer players/returning players who join a fleet and have to earn their keep by donating to said fleet. yeah the romulan I am playing now is from scratch, so did all of the episodes leading to the dyson stuff. A shame if I have to repeat that over again. Just wish there was a way to earn the expertise without just treading old content. Ah well, appreciate the reply, guess it's back tot he grind.

It's annoying to be sure. Having to grind for reputation marks as well as doing old content for expertise, they really need to make all of the rep grinds like the dyson one and remove the expertise requirements. Purely in the interest of not having to redo missions I've played through a hundreds times already.
