Remember, the Admiralty system does not mean they can't add the ability to have out bridge officers fly our other ships in the future. It would just be another system. I for one hope that we eventually get both. The admirably system was probably less work, so we get it first.

We have a level 31 family fleet and are looking for a position in an armada as a gamma fleet. The fleet is called headwater fleet and my in game handle is @oggofskish if you would like to send us an invite. Update: make that a level 32 fleet, research lab just finished its tier 1 upgrade.

The July 14 tribble patch notes indicated that the armada tiers were gained every 35 levels, up from the previous 20. I suspect that's how they are calculated on holodeck. That means that both a level 42 armada and a level 61 armada would have a 1% bonus.

I'm looking forward to this. Even the smallest fleet can achieve tier 3 in the starbase and tier 2 in all other holdings with a bit of hard work.

Even if the vidiians are cured, I think there's still a story there. They spent years harvesting the organs of other species by force. That wouldn't soon be forgotten, and many of them would feel remorse at what they had to do. I think that the story of the aftermath of the phage would be really interesting.
