That's very likely U.S only. Don't quote me on it, but I very much doubt they would fork out for international shipping. No one really does that these days, not with the way they TRIBBLE you on import charges.
Well, that's business 101 these days, isn't it. You see it everywhere. New customers are more important than existing ones, but they forget, the new customers may not stick around... lose them AND the existing ones, and you're in big doo doo.
Scotland can leave if it wants, that would be a massive financial saving for the English taxpayer. Did you know that prescriptions, dental care, and university level education are all free in Scotland? Yes, completely free. In England? Hell no, you pay out the nose for all of these things, and why? Because Scotland, Wales,…
Is it? Okay, slightly more concerned about it, but oh well. If I had a pound for every promotion that should apply to me, but for some reason doesn't, I'd never have to work again.
LTS here, and have been with the game - on and off you understand - since the CBT. Nothing. Not that I'm overly concerned, as I prefer account wide unlocks over these 'claim on one character' promotions, but still... it would be nice to have some official remarks from a dev.
Brilliantly, actually. Thanks for asking. In two years, Britain will be a free entity once again, and the rest of Europe will see that they don't have to be run by self appointed bureaucrats, many of which are 'ex' Soviets. I'll remind you that communism did very badly for Europe, arguably worse in the long term than any…
The TOS part of the game was way too short, in my opinion. I was really geeking out with that '60s vibe it had going, and then bam it was all over. It don't think it would have hurt the devs to put a bit more content into it, or at least give us a way of swapping back and forth between the two centuries, particularly as I…
If someone arranges a wake, then you respect the wishes of the person or persons who set it up. You absolutely DO NOT dress as you please, behave in a disrespectful manner, and then pull the "I'm an individual brah" BS as a justification. Reality check: most of these events are sombre, for a reason.
This. We're lucky to have this game at all. I remember the first cancellation and liquidation of assets, not a good time to be a Star Trek fan, let me tell you. So yeah, all the moaning and sky is falling stuff really is a bit short sighted.
I certainly haven't been able to find a way of going back, as yet. Seems a shame to craft all the wonderful ToS stuff, and then throw it all away once a character hits level 10. I realise it's the story-line they're going for, but it just seems a bit of a missed opportunity to me. Strangely enough, I have found the ToS…
Yeah, level 10 is the end of the ToS missions. Which is a damned shame if you ask me, as I was actually enjoying the ToS theme more than the standard game... believe it or not. I'd really hoped it would last longer than that, but I guess we were lucky to get what we did in the first place.
Yes, this is now getting beyond a slight inconvenience. We had downtime before the weekend, during the weekend, after the weekend, and yet still they don't seem to have sorted the issue. Do they even know what they're doing?
The whole box thing is essentially a money sink, designed to make players spend a boatload of cash, in the hope of getting a new shiny to play with. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction, it's really not worth it.
Exactly this. It would be nice if they at least hinted at some form of government beyond this one man, but I guess that's time and resources better spent elsewhere.
They could at the very least allow us to switch faction allegiance if we so desire. That way if people are not happy with their initial choice, they don't end up stuck with it. Personally, I think that would make the RR a very attractive pick for most players, and compensation for being a half faction.
The uniform issue makes sense, as you are an ally, not an actual member. When members of a military are loaned to another as advisors etc, they wear their country's uniform, and not that of the one they are advising. As for the Fed ships, I can't say for certain as I have yet to reach a point where I want or need a Fed…
I would say we're probably over-thinking this just a bit. It's probably a situation similar to the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars, with a nominated leader during the rebellion, and then a full senate after the new government is officially formed.
I know it's not exactly a priority issue, given the usual round of post-update breakages, but more bridges and interior layouts would make Romulan players very happy indeed... especially this one!
I don't think it makes a big difference either way. Feds probably have the edge when it comes to PvE content, but I haven't played KDF for some time, so this may have changed. At the end of the day, I guess it comes down to which faction you prefer, and which one you think makes the most sense for your particular…
At the end of the day, I suspect the people whining longest and loudest about EC farming exploits, are the very people sitting on a veritable mountain of EC. Funny how that works.
