I completely agree we need a frigate. This is why I don't use carriers on my Fed characters. They could make frigates that look like slightly smaller versions of the Defiant, or they could design something else.

If the 5 missions could be done well, then I think there are many reasons to do this. I personally didn't like in "Step Between Stars" the rewards. Cryptic has probably already put this in the game but only select people can see it and get it. To everyone else it probably looks like a Nova Class or something unless you are part of the conspiracy. Cryptic could probably be pretty darn cryptic if they were trying to be.
