Apparently only TRIBBLE lovers get to be sarcastic and hyperbolic, amirite? I think the difference is that I don't mind that stuff, but it seems the TRIBBLE fan backlash here is from people who abhor it (and yet, then commence doing it). Reminds me of a certain political persuasion I won't mention to keep the thread from…
I guess you didn't read my post after the one you quoted. Ok. Yes, my subjective opinions on CBS's secret market research objectively proves I'm detached from reality. Do we really need to start qualifying every sentence we make with "in my opinion" and "I see it this way, but fully understand, respect, and appreciate why…
They're data of subscriptions and by third party sources, not CBS's data, or internal market research, which is what I was opining about. But thanks for finding those links, it is interesting information nonetheless.
Wow, you mean the Trek IP drove record numbers of subscriptions to an already underperforming and relatively new streaming service? No way... Also, I don't know how to do this? Good one. Especially as TRIBBLE fan critique of my post has been both "CBS does not release viewership information; therefore, your post is…
I agree. This is fact, whether TRIBBLE (I still get a kick out of this abbreviation...fitting) fans want to accept it or not. It has abysmal ratings. CBS is in full panic mode. Why else would they do such a blatant injection of Orville-style humor into the second season? I'll tell you why: because while they could give a…
Wow. I just got a reply to my ticket. They're trying to say that my Lifetime Subscription was "an error" and that the transaction never completed. That's interesting considering they charged my credit card and took my money... Waiting to see what they say next...
I certainly hope you guys consider not allowing cross faction ships of any sort. It's great Feds and Klinks can't use Romulan ships, but it should be vice versa as well.
The line must be drawn here! And to the person above me, I agree. I've been planning on maining a Romulan since I heard the news, and I'd rather have "too few" ships than what Cryptic is attempting to do.
And this is the crux of the matter which many Romulan fans are upset over. It's not simply a matter of semantics, as some people who are completely satisfied by the decision to have Romulans be more of a racial choice than an actual faction choice, seem to be fine with believing.
This is as simple as it gets. This would make Romulan players happy. I'm not really sure how many resources this would take on Cryptic's end, but I just can't envision it being an impossibility to make Romulans a real faction. I'm not sure why they're going this route tbh.
It's because the suggestion that would fix everything is so simple that it is frustrating to some of us that there's a need to suggest anything in the first place. Suggestion: Make Romulans a real 3rd faction (even if it's how the KDF started out imo) /done For all of the TRIBBLE the Klinks have had to endure about their…
Yeah. I think sometimes devs think those catchphrases result in a catharsis for disgruntled players. Better than fixing the issue in their eyes, I suppose.
If this is true, I think it's more than obvious that all of the Romulan fans would prefer a real 3rd faction, and not just the introduction of a new race being implemented into the existing 2. That feedback is more than consistent. Guess we'll see what develops.
I would feel different if they just admitted it was a new race and not a new faction. They said it was a new faction. It's not. Just be straight up imo.
I was getting ready to buy a lifetime subscription during the next sale in my excitement for the Romulan faction. Bag that idea now that there really is none.
