I like the way when you talk to an NPC now the window which pops up looks like a window which you actually talk to the NPC, and not just a window showing you what the NPC your talking to looks like. The idea of having NPCs you talk to from a distance appear in a viewscreen is nicely done. That said, the entire above point…
The UI is what you will always be looking at everytime you login. If you don't like the UI then playing the game which uses it for every screen, menu and option could be an unpleasant experience. Leaving because of it isn't extreme at all.
Tell me about it. Unless there are at least some improvements made before launch, I honestly don't believe I could stomach logging in and having to look at that UI every second I'm playing the game. This change is effecting me more than the combat upgrade did in Star Wars Galaxies.
The character creation is confusing as hell, I have trouble making sense of it. The old layout at least was very well defined and organised, easy to navigate. The new one is all over the place. The idea of images to represent the playable races is horrible since most of the aliens in Star Trek look similiar to humans,…

While I'm glad the racing exploit will be fixed, I just wanted to share my opinion on it and what I think Cryptic and Star Trek in general mean to it. I'm a BIG fan of the original series and the next generation, the two series's I most believe try to teach us that we can better ourselves, become more than we are. To me…
I really really hope this isn't the case, as not showing us what's availiable due to there being nothing of worth would be catastrophic, so instead I will just hope the people at cryptic simply don't realize how silly the way they've done it is they read my opening post. Tho you do raise another point I hadn't thought of,…
I want a "pet" tab on my character sheet where it lists all the pets I have collected so I can just activate/summon them from there without having dozens of pets taking up inventory space. I want a 'gear' tab on my character sheet where it has a list of all the sets of gear you can get in the game. If you have the complete…
