The defense of New Romulus was epic!! I died like 7 times, but after the 5th time I began to simply target the smaller ships that would swarm you when attacked the dreadnoughts... I was only level 30ish...so the D'dederix took a hella beating. But, it was attainable and the mots fun I've had in a while. But it was annoying…

Old, new...it's STO, they do what they want and bastardize whatever to get it. I like the Kumari...tough little PVE ship. But this is about the Vengeance...it looks hella ugly and it needs to be destroyed by a much weaker, superiorly crewed Enterprise. Oh TRIBBLE, did I just ruin the plot??

Its in Beta still...stuff will change, it always does. I like playing the Rommies...your story goes back in time till before New Romulus and I'm sure they'll tweak stuff up that is different. It is annoying having to start again...but so is paying taxes so...

At the end though...they have to make new content to keep us paying customers coming back. I'll admit that I have been getting bored with some stuff and making a new toon is just bleh to me....but a new Romulan toon...MMmmm Good! The new UI is so amazing though...you can change the awful colors to something more appealing.…

I think they had to do it because of the story line...you sorta get ham-stringed into the Republic or the Empire. If you roll TalShiar...it'd be cool to be a sneak on ESD mission...lol. Logistically it'd be a nightmare for them to build a whole new starbase and what not. I do happen to think that aligning with a faction…

I have play tested Romulan characters up on Tribble, and its kinda cool because once you pick your allegiance, you get a bridge officer from that faction. I chose FED, so I got a male tactical boff who was at least a blue, so it was none too shabby. Still not as good as the purple one you get that is kinda story lined to…

M'eh The Phoenix fleets did all elites space stfs in under an hour. She was no real challenge, just lil'more sneaky...I like that tricksie Romulan!!
